The Springfield Armory SAINT 5.56 AR-15 pistol is a compact, highly functional firearm optimized for close-quarters use and quick maneuverability. Outfitted with a 7.5" barrel made of 416R stainless steel, the barrel's Melonite treatment enhances its hardness and accuracy, surpassing traditional chromed barrels in wear resistance. This treatment extends to the bolt-carrier group, which is also Magnetic Particle Tested for assured reliability. The SAINT pistol employs a direct-impingement gas system, with a semi-auto action, housed within Type III Hard Coat Anodized 7075 T6 Aluminum forged upper and lower receivers. The proprietary SA Nickel Boron Coated GI trigger offers smooth operation, complemented by Bravo Company's ergonomic pistol grip and trigger guard. The SAINT pistol’s design includes an SB Tactical SBX-K arm brace, which enhances stability and support during firing. It also features a slim, free-floating M-LOK Aluminum handguard with Springfield Armory’s locking tabs and a forward hand stop, which enhances safety by preventing the support hand from moving in front of the barrel. The pistol comes with a blast diverter that projects muzzle blast forward, reducing side blast and noise towards the shooter. This model includes a top Picatinny rail for mounting optics and BUIS, specifically tailored for compact setups, like the Trijicon RMR and Bobro Lowrider sights.
