The Marlin Model 1894 is a lever-action rifle first introduced in 1894 by Marlin Firearms Company. Initially offered with a 24-inch barrel, it was chambered in .25-20 Winchester, .32-20 Winchester, .38-40, and .44-40. Today, it remains available in various chamberings. Unlike the Winchester Model 1894, the Marlin 1894 features distinct differences in design and functionality. All standard variants of the Model 1894 come with a black walnut stock, a straight grip, and, except for the 1894CL, adjustable semi-buckhorn folding rear sights and ramp front sights. The 1894CL variant is equipped with marble adjustable, semi-buckhorn rear sights and a marble carbine front sight. Additionally, there are several collectible "Limited Edition" Marlin 1894 models, characterized by stainless steel construction, grey laminated furniture, and "tru-glo" sights. These limited editions were pre-drilled for scope mounts and included a solid rubber recoil pad, with only 250 units of each caliber produced, making them highly collectible.
