The DDM4 V7 is a high-performance AR-15 style rifle designed for versatility and durability. Introduced with M-LOK attachment technology, it features the Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 rail, which offers extensive accessory mounting options. Built around a 16-inch Cold Hammer Forged barrel with a 1:7 twist, the V7 includes a DD improved Flash Suppressor to minimize flash signature. The mid-length gas system ensures smooth operation, reducing recoil and wear on moving parts. Constructed from CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum, both the lower and upper receivers are Mil-Spec with Type III Hard Coat Anodizing. The barrel is made of Chrome Moly Vanadium steel, with a chrome-lined interior and Mil-Spec Heavy Phosphate Coating. A pinned low-profile gas block complements the mid-length direct impingement system. The rifle is equipped with a GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle, which is ambidextrous, and features the ergonomic Daniel Defense Buttstock and Pistol Grip, both made from glass-filled polymer with a soft-touch overmolding. Additional features include a flared magazine well for faster reloads, an ambidextrous safety selector, and a free-float rail system that maintains barrel harmonics. The V7’s muzzle device, constructed from stainless steel and salt bath nitride finished, further reduces flash signature compared to traditional designs.
