The Beretta Nano is a line of micro-compact, striker-fired, semi-automatic pistols made in the United States by Beretta USA. The 9mm Luger-chambered Nano was released in October 2011. In 2019, when Beretta released the APX Carry, (basically, a Nano with cosmetic changes) Nano was discontinued. The Beretta Nano is a small pistol designed for concealed purposes. It features a slide finished in Pronox and a frame made of "technopolymer" with fiberglass infusion. Pronox is a kind of ferritic nitrocarburizing finish similar to Melonite and Tenifer. Low-profile 3-dot sights are used on the Nano. The Nano's single-column box magazine holds 6 rounds of 9mm ammunition.
