The Ruger SR45 is a polymer-framed, fully-sized, recoil-operated, semi-automatic pistol with a grip that is incredibly small despite holding 10 rounds of 45 ACP ammunition. It is designed to be lighter and slimmer for legal concealed carry. A replaceable and reversible rubberized insert is also present in the grip. The magazine release and thumb safety are both ambidextrous, and the frame offers a dust cover and a rail to install lights or lasers. The Ruger SR45 has an eight-inch length and a height of about six inches. The SR45 can hold 10 rounds as opposed to the SR40's 15 rounds. The Ruger SR45's reliability and accuracy prove to be advantages, and the robust trigger pull and effective sights go well with the gun's superb ergonomics. The SR45 was completely hassle-free to clean, unlike some other handguns. The sights haven't changed all that much from the previous generations and are still made of steel, as the best sights always are.
