With a direct gas impingement system at its center, the Taurus T4SA 5.56mm semi-automatic carbine has a forged aluminum A3 T-marked upper, lightweight KeyMod (with QD attachment points) or M-LOK handguards, a forged aluminum lower with a Magpul grip and trigger guard, a six-position Magpul CTR buttstock, a dual pinned Melonite low-profile gas block, a Mil-spec buffer tube, recoil spring, H2 buffer and a staked castle nut; and a Melonite bolt carrier, bolt carrier key and bolt assembly that are Magnetic Particle Inspected. Three alternative barrel lengths are available for the Taurus T4SA: 16 inches, 14.5 inches, and 11.5 inches. The barrels are coated with Melonite and have a 1:7 twist made of chrome moly. The Taurus T4SA is offered in 18 various variants with matte black, sand, or jungle finishes. It also comes with a 30-round Magpul PMAG M2 magazine.
