The Glock 42 is Glock’s 380 concealed-carry option, and one of the most lightweight handguns on the market. Lots of people were disappointed at first with the caliber less power than 9mm, but over time that opinion has changed. The Gen 4 model brought some more appealing improvements, like more comfortable grip with finely rounded front and back straps. The gun is really small and lies firmly in a hand, even though people with bigger hands might not have a full grip. The magazine release is much bigger than the Gen 3, and easy to reach without breaking your grasp. There’s a dual-recoil spring inside and the slide stop is on the right-hand side of the gun. The trigger pull is smooth and it resets fairly quickly. This gun is a real soft shooter, because using .380 ammo makes the recoil feel like a breeze. Visually, proportion on the Glock 42 seem perfect, and this might be the most attractive Glock so far. It is accurate enough and as it’s expected, very reliable, and maintenance is extremely easy even for a total beginner.
