The Ruger Mark IV is considered as one of the most reliable pistols from the Mark series. It was released in 2016 and rapidly became very popular. The Ruger Mark IV offers a user-friendly design with its simple one-button takedown, making field-stripping and chamber-to-muzzle cleaning effortless. By pressing a button located at the back of the frame, users can easily remove the barrel-receiver assembly from the grip frame without needing tools. Its cold hammer-forged barrel ensures precision rifling for exceptional accuracy and durability. The ergonomic bolt stop and internal cylindrical bolt construction provide consistent sight-to-barrel alignment, enhancing accuracy compared to traditional moving-slide systems. The pistol features a contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears for reliable operation. An accurate sighting system is supported by a drilled and tapped receiver, allowing for the attachment of Weaver- or Picatinny-style rails for optics. The ambidextrous manual safety can be converted to a left-side only safety with an included washer, and a conveniently located push-button magazine release on the left side ensures quick reloading with a magazine that drops free. A magazine disconnect feature prevents discharge when the magazine is removed. The Ruger Mark IV comes with two 10-round magazines.
