This is another .22 handgun from a diverse Ruger family with a long history behind. It was introduced in 1958, discontinued in 194, and brought back in production in 1993. It was the first revolver with the transfer bar (between the hammer and firing pin) and today remains one of the favorite Ruger revolvers ever. Considering its size and overall dimensions (about 9 inches), it’s very convenient for everyday carry. Also, single-action revolvers are the easiest handguns for ease of use, as well as one of the slowest handguns to reload. It’s chambered in .22 LR cartridge and has minimum recoil. Base models include fixed sights, a front blade and an integral notch rear sight. A bear and a cougar are engraved into the unfluted cylinder. Grip and cylinder frame are made of steel, while the handle is made of hardwood. It has excellent design and solid construction. It is an amazing six-round revolver that works flawlessly and has a good accuracy, making it perfect for target shooting or small hunting game.
