Okay, so once I realized what I could do with this basic Ruger 10/22 Charger, it changed everything. So I got one and I went to town. I've done several videos on this. Each time I find something more to add that I like. The fun factor just keeps getting better when I think that it could.
Ruger 22 Charger Features
What I've got here is a Ruger 10/22 Charger. Now, the charger in its original configuration looks like this. And for the longest time, that just really wasn't of interest to me because I've got several Ruger 22 pistols. And the idea of having something like that with a tripod or whatever invention, it just wasn't, wasn't very exciting.

However, in this configuration, that's a game changer. We can do all kinds of fun stuff with this. So the purpose of this video is to show you if you do reconsider, and get the 1022 charger, how much fun you can have with it, and the almost like an AR 15, the modularity of it, and the different things that we can do to customize it to our particular needs, is huge.

Picatinny Rail
Let's just run through here. Quick, the things that I'm going to cover on this, in this, isn't all - there is lots of stuff you can do. I'm going to start off. I think with probably the most important, the absolute must for the charger is this copper, basically pistol brace adapter.
Now this one got a Picatinny 1913 rail here on the back of it. And what I did was - I took a SB tactical FS1913 collapsible folding pistol brace and put it on that. The next thing I did was I put my SIG Romeo5 on it. Absolutely love the SIG Romeo5 for everything. I really like it on the 1020s - I'll show you here. I did shoot it a little bit. And I got some really tight groups with this little red dot low profile. It's a tough little red dot. It's economic. And it's just awesome on this gun.

The Fire Switch
The next one that I think's an absolute must is the fire switch. Okay, that's the extended Mag release here. As you saw, I pushed it forward and it drops out. But what I really like with this is I can also pull it back in it drops out so I can go either direction forward back in it drops out. That's really nice. And all of these other than the brace adapter are also going to be viable options for Ruger 10/22.
The Grip
The next one is my grip. I love this. I did a video completely on these grips. This is the trill RTG grip. Very comfortable changes the degree it's only like $14.99 at PSA. The charger will take any AR 15 pistol grip. This just happens to be the one that I like the most, that I recommend the most, and is also the most economical.

The Handle
Next on our list is the Spartan. Okay, it's skeletonized, it's not expensive and it makes a huge difference in being able to grab here. Your finger just fits in there, and it's comfortable - love it! Highly recommend it for any Ruger 10/22.

Pro Muzzle Brake
Next one is the game changer Pro Muzzle Brake. Now, I know we're talking a 22 long rifle here, and a lot of you are going to comment you can't help yourselves. Why would I put a comp on a 22? Go to Tandem Cross, they've got a video there that shows the decrease in muzzle climb. Now it is on a pistol. Okay, I've got this and initially reviewed it on my Mark IV 22 pistol. I like it. Okay, it's not an absolute, I do think that it decreases a little bit of the muzzle rise and yeah, it's a 1022, 22 long rifle so how much muzzle climb is it going to have? Think of it as a really nice thread protector. And if you just think that's dumb, well then - don't get it.
Nice! Yeah, so thought this was the ultimate 22? It could not possibly get better - that was crazy, stupid, fun...or could it?
The Trigger
You get crazy, stupid, fun, ultimate fun factor off the chart guys! You can't tell me that that did not grab your attention. That was Franklin Armory's BFS III 22 C1 trigger for the Ruger 10/22.

Summary
Now okay, so when you think about it in the current ammo situation, or even normal times when we can still find ammo on the shelf, what else could we afford to do that with than a 22 long rifle? The Ruger 10/22 Charger with some accessories is, in my opinion, an absolute must! Now suddenly, you're gonna think that I'm crazy. I actually think that this is more fun than some of the fully automatic firearms that I've got to shoot recently here.
Simply because I can hit the target with every single shot, you know, when I'm going full auto with a .556 or .762 by 39. Yeah, that baby's jumping. I can keep this on target. As you saw I can even at a 100 yards bench in it. I can keep every shot on target. And when times are good, I'm spending two cents around. In my opinion, it does not get any better than that.
