Maybe the user??? Also any wind at all kills the battery faster and also makes any lower grade quad much harder to fly, as they lack the proper power. Do research if your looking for something that can make a beginner look like a pro.
I have this and I wouldn't call it "junk"....but not gun related either. Battery lasts for 10+ minutes and for less than 10 dollars you can get a handful of extra batteries for an hour of fun. Drones take a little learning curve (especially cheaps ones without AI) but so do most things in life. Hint: the second you get above the tree tops a good gust will take this thing on a unexpected detour. Had to use a shotgun to shoot a tree limb down to free mine once!

For those of you out that are drone haters; this product is for you. It will knock a drone out of orbit up to 400 yards, problem is, the FCC won't let this product come to fruition. Same as cell jammers. But if they were legal, I'd probably make one.

Great deal if you want a RTF quad copter. This is probably about the same quality/performance as a Parrot Drone which ware $200+.
If you're wanting to get into the game and new to r/c quad-flying, its better to buy one of these to practice on and then move to building your own.

Ever since the South Park episode with drones I've been wanting to get one of these quadricoptors that has decent range and a camera that can wirelessly stream real time video as well as record. Don't think this one has the video part but figure I'll wait a couple years till I finish some more projects around the house projects before buying a toy that I will most likely use 5-6 times, get bored of, then put in the basement to collect dust.

Unless you figure out a way to weaponize this quadcopter... I'm not sure why this is posted here. Don't get me wrong... I have a couple of different models and they are great fun, but this has nothing to do with guns, knives, hunting, survival, etc.
I thought about taking it to the gun show to seek out ammo prices. Or a beef jerky salesman there who uses gloves lol.
Guess you've never played Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. These are essential parts of the tactical kit. Recon. I suppose they could be used for hunting too.
Nope... except for an occasional game on my phone while I'm stuck somewhere waiting for a table or an appointment, I just don't have the free time anymore. Spent half my childhood playing Atari, Commodore 64, and Nintendo but now the X-box (v1) and Wii sit under a half inch of dust. Hell man, I got GUNS that I don't have time to shoot... instruments I don't have time to play... quadcopters I don't have time to fly... being an adult kinda sucks. LOL
Anyway... I could see a custom FPV quad being of some use for scouting, hunting, or even assassination if you get creative with your explosives... but this little piece of crap will fly 30 meters from the transmitter. The camera records on a microSD card so you can only fly it line of sight. Sure... you can strap some explosives to it and try to blow something up... but you need a detonator transmitter/receiver and 30 meters isn't nearly far enough away for explosives. Not for me anyway. :o)
What you want is an FPV quad... which will set you back 10 or 20 times the price on this silly toy.
