I got mine in 308 Win. Great rifle! Very accurate as well. Love the low-throw bolt.

Went to my LGS this morning to handle these, winchester xpr, ruger american, ruger american predator, savage axis, howa 1500 and mossberg's offering in this grade of rifle.
Of all 8 rifles, the T/C was the roughest looking, feeling and operating of them all. The only catagory where I did not feel it came in dead last was trigger. The Howa took the cake there, lots of take up, heavist pull and next to no pressure wall like the other 7.
The Xpr boasts the tightest groupings in a few YT reviews. No one seems to be able to get the T/C to hit that 1 MOA guarantee,...not with any measurable consistentcy anyhow.
For the T/C, I handled the 30.06, 7mm r m, and the .308. The stocks feel cheap and the texture leaves something to be desired. They do however offer less flex than all the other 5 rifles, save the Howa, XPR and Mossberg with the Howa being the most rigid.
The wing safety in a word; sucks. Its awkward to operate, stiff, forces you to break your grip when manipulating it and it's difficult to fully tell when you've switched between the three available positions. The action is nearly of the same feel and quality, maybe a little better, but not by much.
Of the 8 I looked at the Ruger American was the absolute smoothest action, followed closely by the XPR. Both of those guns triggers were the best too. The T/C's was decent, but is adjustable so I suppose that may improve.
The 5R rifling is a big deal, the higher capacity is a bonus and the threaded muzzle pretty much makes this rifle nearly in it's own class (hence why I included the higher priced higher value, Predator).
At $300 these are a great target rifle, at $210 they are a steal. Not a hunter so I can't comment too much on that. However, I think the super awkward safety could make this a no go for shooters looking to be able to react quick and confidently with their weapon in a high pressure shooting situation.
Also, I handled the Ruger and XPR (probably two best guns) at 3 differnt LGSs today and tried to pick the less popular calibers so the actions and triggers werent already smoothed out from being display guns. Testing out these two guns at 3 seperate stores and having similar results each time would make me feel confident in choosing either of those over the T/C, but you will pay more.
