I have purchased from them a few times. Both were exactly what I ordered including a sig 229 well below market. Fast and friendly.. Much better then the terrible experience I had last week with Buds whom I will never buy from again.

This indeed is the sport II, they have them in store for same price. Their store is about 10 minutes from me, I'm in there at least once a week. They always have the best deals by far, and on top of that, are very nice, honest people to deal with. Just wanted to post this in case anyone was doubting it.

Read above bro...armedtotheteeth. The ad had been posted numerous times. When I wrote that the link pointed to the offer with comments on their page that stated buyers did not receive the rifle with a dust cover or forward assist. I was just trying to help others by pointing it out. Apparently it has changed. None of your business?....but you need to call me a homosexual? You do realize that by calling others a homosexual that it does not make you less of a closet homosexual right? Just come out and stop being so angry from behind your keyboard. If not lmk if you want pics and a flashlight and I will send them to you.

Armed to the teeth? Haha ...Are you talking guns big fella? Or are you locked and loaded?

Reposting and thumbs up doesn't mean squat. Has anybody received one of these guns at that price?

if a random person, who could make up whatever they wanted, posted that they had succes; that would make you feel better? The fact that this add has been reposted several times means that it wasn't flagged for being fraudulent. But if a comment from Joe Schmo saying he had success is what it takes for you to have faith, then Tayar77's words should ease your mind.

I'm skeptical. Has anybody received one that they ordered or at least ever dealt with this company before? I've never heard of them.

This add has been re posted several times.. Look at the amount of up votes and positive comments. Save your skepticism for other things.

Wow. I bought my first M & P Sport at more than this. I paid $649 for a still very great quality Smith & Wesson rifle sans forward assist and dust cover. Here we have the better option at $539. Great rifle. Quality unquestioned. Absolutely backed by Smith & Wesson. If I didn't already own two Sports I would buy this better example in a heartbeat.

Of course these would be in stock a day after I order one for $589 :-)

Tell me about it. I ordered one last week for about the same price you paid.

$539 for he Sport 2. Great price. The best times for AR prices are moments away. Be patient, buy, and cash in when Hillary or Bernie threaten to take the Oval Office.

Dang. Tempting Smithswapper. I still have an extra lower sitting around looking for a cool upper too. This Sport II is a nice buy though!

For $539 I don't see how you could lose. I don't see this rifle ever being worth less than that. It would be a good one to buy several of for the future, but I'm gonna spend my money on tin foil, I'm running low.

I wanted to buy the last time they listed this but there was concern over Sport or Sport II. Glad they cleared that up on their site and I purchased one this time. They are out of stock now but seem to be getting more in soon. Only issue I see is the shipping is $20 and one of their warehouses where it said they had stock is only 65 miles from me. Still cheaper with shipping than any other site. I'll have $584 in it when all is said and done.

Back from Oregon so soon? Well drop yer tin foil hats and grab yer cash. Armageddon ain't coming today, but the libs are here to take yer guns once again! Now's the time, so buy every last fucking gun in sight!

Hey there! Have ya heard Hillarys comments recently? I took off my foil hat and heard them loud and clear. Do you think she wants to ban the "assault rifle" like her husband did? Or do you think she didn't really mean what she said. Please...do share.

0 votes
0 votes

Uhhhh, since her husband banned the AR in the 1990's and I couldn't even buy a 30 round mag for a Ruger 10/22 (yes, that happened), I don't think I'm too far off of a possible price spike if a democrat is ahead in the polls come September. Did you notice the price spike when 0'bama gave his speech on guns last month? Or are you in some kind of denial? I'm not saying that they will ban these, and I'm not saying that the price spikes are logical, but anyone with a quarter of a brain has noticed that Democrat actions have affected gun prices recently. Or did you just want to be insulting because I pointed out the very obvious?
I really don't care about anyone's politics, i was just giving a suggestion about how to play the AR market. Do you know who Bloomberg is? He is also talking about throwing his hat in the ring. My tin foil hat tells me he doesn't like AR's either.
Apparently you need to get some tinfoil, wherever you go to get informed isn't doing you any good. Thanks for not making me resort to name calling, your condition goes without saying.

Hillary has made herself pretty clear on this subject. I don't think Smithswapper is wearing a tinfoil hat on that as regards infringement concerns with her. Now Bernie says he likes the second amendment, but wants the government to be socialist, does that make me feel better? SMITHSWAPPER, what the heck were you doing out in Oregon anyway? Ditch the tinfoil hat and get some defensive body armor instead.

I missed the deal huh? Let me know if you see any good prices on tin foil then. Stay outta Oregon now you hear? ;-)

Anderson has a good rep and to be honest it was the 1/8 twist I liked. Need to look at Ruger as an option too now. Thanks for the reply.

For an entry level AR, these Sports seem like a nice little package. Would the Anderson be a better bang for the buck?

These M & P's are a nice option. I've seen these sub-$600 recently, and they are fully backed by Smith & Wesson. On the Anderson, I just don't know what the support and QC is or what features they have. I own two Smith & Wesson M & P Sports, both fantastic guns. High quality, reliable and accurate. Both do not have the benefit of the latest M & P Sport II, which includes the melonite barrel, forward assist and dust cover, yet I paid more than the new model is selling for now. So the new model version appears as a very good value for sure. The truth is we live in the age of bargain AR's and it probably is a golden age. You could buy decent AR options down at $500 or less. I've got a fantastic PSA melonite mid-length with optics at $475 with shipping and FFL factored in, quite a bit of gun for the money there, just no big name manufacturer backing it. I love the Smith's and I love my Rugers too on the pistol and .22 side, and I really am thinking of the new Smith model and buying a Ruger AR556 too. I would be out about $600 bucks on each of those two guns, but nice AR's and I don't think you would ever regret either of those options. Like I said, maybe Anderson has something to offer that I am not aware of.

After placing an order on Sunday, I got an update this AM saying that:

"I realized Monday that our website was reducing the inventory in the warehouse before reducing the inventory in our store. the store inventory was depleted earlier.

we expect to fulfill your order by months end"

And offered to cancel the order if this wasn't OK. Hoping these do actually show up in a few weeks and this isn't the endless Botach Tactical "oh, just 2-3 more weeks" spiel.

Model # says 811036 in 2 places on their site, which is for the sport. How do we know which is correct?

The model number is for the sport 1 811036, so how are we sure which is right? I ordered mine and will call in the am to verify.

@ Powerball, High $20's shipping with a couple shipping options to MN. We all need to keep asking why Georgia Gun Can offer these prices while the Big Shops are asking $100+ more.

Anyone check shipping cost?

Just ordered one, and saw the stock decrease from 2 to 1 from Warehouse A. Checked a few min later and it was at 0. Checked again after another 10 minutes and it was back to 2. Wonder if they are throttling how many are available, or if there's some bug.

I just gave up with my Botach Tactical order after 3 months of waiting for a too-good-to-be-true Beretta CX-4 deal, so I'm hoping I'm not dealing with another one of those situations! The seller seems to have a pretty good reputation from a few Google searches, so fingers crossed!a

The pic here and on their site clearly shows a dust cover and forward assist. The comments on their site states those options are not included. Might want to check first since the pic could be misleading.

After doing a search on the model number, 811036, it appears this is a M&P Sport, not a Sport II. I almost ordered one since it was a great price for a Sport II, but it appears it's only a Sport. Now they are out of stock. I hope anyone who ordered it wasn't expecting a Sport II with dust cover and forward assist. Still a bit confused. Can anyone verify?

Interesting, but I'd imagine the title and the photo wouldn't have been updated if they were selling the Sport I. Sounds like they don't reopen until Wednesday, so we aren't going to get an answer before then.

Still looks like a pretty good deal for the original, but would be pretty annoying to receive it if you were expecting the II.

Helluva deal fellas. If you have been in the market for an AR/M4 but been on the fence, nows the time to pull the trigger (pun intended).

$540 for this rifle at the time of this posting is by far and away the lowest price I can find. We should all be asking why Georgia Gun Store can offer this rifle at $540 and the guys way bigger than them are charging almost $100 more. Hats off to Georgia Gun Store. I don't need one, but I should buy one out of support for a business that is offering a fair price in the current market.
(Just in case someone reads this post 3 years from now; there is a current spike in AR prices at the time of this post due to a speech from 0'Bama and some middle eastern transplants that shot up San Bernadino).

S&W finally wised up and added the dust cover and forward assist bolt.
A couple of months back i was talking with my FFL guy about this rifle and the Ruger AR 556 when the prices were close to the same.
He had said the Rugers were outselling these by an obscene amount.
Now that prices have shot up and you cant find a Ruger at this price, this S&W is a solid deal.

The counter guy at my LGS said the same thing. NO one was buying the old sport once the AR556 came out. It's nice S&W stepped up and spent the extra dollar or two to add FA and DC. We can thank Ruger for it really!

I bought a pistol from Tooele back in June. Ordered on a Wed. evening, and it was at my FFL that same Sat. Very good people to deal with. This new M&P looks sweet. I have the 1st gen of the sport and it is an awesome rifle.
