Yes, 3" Sp101.
I have the same model. I added lighter hammer spring, Hogue grip, and front Meprolight night sight. The 3" is a cool size you don't see as often as the 2.25" or 4".
The 3 inch is certainly very difficult to find. I put in an 8lb trigger hammer spring as well. I haven't changed out the grips. My fiance wants spongebob squarepants on her grips. I love this woman, but I swear, ever go to a gun show asking if someone would custom make spongebob grips? The looks I have gotten...
Then again, this is the same woman who wants me to build her an AR-15. She is getting one for Valentines day. Nothing says love like an AR-15 with 20 mags in a pelican case :)
That is the trick with wives. Get them going on 22lr, then 357, 9mm etc. and they want to try the next biggest caliber. Obviously don't want to give them a 44mag, 45 auto, 50bmg etc to start with. Can't relate to wanting sponge-bob but it is better than wanting pink right?
The first pistol my fiance shot was my Kimber Eclipse Custom II 1911. She handled it really well. I didn't have any other handguns to try for her. She loves it so much that I had to get her one for Christmas. Fixed up an old Auto-Ordnance and gave it to her. Now she wants a 20 gauge for skeet shooting.
Before she met me, she never held a firearm... what a monster I have created!
For those who aren't the most familiar, this is the SP101. Bought one of these for my fiance and she absolutely loves hers.
