I have had two from them that broke with few rounds though them, there uppers are alright so far, had them for 4or 5 years no issues except there extremely over tightening of there barrel nuts

So I have emailed PSA to tell them 1 out of the 3 bcgs I bought doesn’t work. The others work perfect but one keeps sticking and I have no idea why.. so I emailed them multiple times and have heard nothing back :-( I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars over the past few years with PSA and have always had good luck but this sucks !!

Emails typically don’t get a great response. If you call PSA, you will likely get a much better response. I’ve deal with their CS in the past and have had good success with fast response times. I really like PSA and have bought a ton of stuff from them but they have always made it right if there was a problem for me.

I can't say I've experienced that, PSA has always gotten back to my emails in mere hours unless it's the weekend. Their customer service is excellent as far as I'm concerned.

I have spent a ton of money with them. I wont buy from them anymore. I ordered this bcg on 4-6-19 and I'm still waiting for it to ship. Called on the phone and got some dumb story about how busy they are. I have had this problem with them the last 3 orders I've made.

I want to cancel my order. Gonna do that tomorrow morning before work.

PSA, I hope you see this and read it...you just lost a good customer over bad service!

Funny but the most I've ever had to wait on them is a week maybe even during major sales events. Their customer service I great, always gets back to my emails within hours unless it's like 5pm on a Friday or something. My local dealers hate PSA with a passion but you just can't fault them for killing it in the market. I've been pretty much 100 percent satisfied with their products and service since day one. Who knows, you might just be one of those angry local guys that keep losing sales to them.

PSA has great prices, and I used to enjoy buying from them...but damn, service sucks ass, ship times get longer and longer...yes I am an angry local person, but that has nothing to do with PSA. I'm just a very angry shitbag...I can be impatient, but I am understanding.

Then go buy a $200 NiB BCG somewhere else. Stop whining. This is a $50 steal.

Lmao. God bless you...someone saw my point...and said what we were all thinking

I know it's a steal. That's why I jumped on it. But if they wont ship it...and I get crap service...it could be $10 and free shipping...the point of my post was that PSA ship times and service is bullshit...

I'm still waiting for my money back, and got my BCG from a different seller for $5 more than PSA.

Three weeks to ship, a week to find out yours is bad, a week or two get a hold of them and get an RMA, another week to send it back if you get the RMA and label in the email (Some aren't getting theirs, add another week or two to get that RMA sent correctly if that happens), 2-3 more weeks for them to send out another BCG, another week for it to arrive, another week for you to get out and see if the replacement is any better. Ordering a BCG or anything else from them when the QC is on the gutters at this time and you could be looking at 4-5 weeks to use any item order from them at this point or if its a bad item that needs replaced, 10 to 14 weeks to use any item you order from PSA at this time. God forbid the replacement is also bad.....

I want to grab a couple of extras but may need to avoid PSA, they are not the same company they were before. Slow shipping has always been an issue but now they are switching their phone systems off for days, all you get is a message about technical difficulties and hung up on and if they do answer, look for a 30 minute to indefinite wait for an answer. And now if you happen to dare ask questions about why they are not answering phones or complain about the 2-5 week shipping times most are having, they will ban you from commenting or reviewing them on FascistBook. Before you even think about buying from PSA now go look at their most recent reviews on FascistBook, many of the positives are the fanbois that would allow them to do whatever and never tell you the truth about what they have become.

It sucks for me because I was certainly a fan of their products, thought they had finally ironed out their long term slow shipping issues and the worst thing I had found for QC issues was that regular stock is more blemished than two years previous's blems were and an upside down flash hider. The last expensive railed pistol kit had a faulty bolt, it would not extract the spent round and would pick up the next and jam them together. Taking it apart the best I can see is no O ring on the extractor spring. It also had a huge burr on the bolt next to the roll pin hole that was catching on something, I filed it down but no help. They want this one returned before they will send a replacement and thy wont send parts. So I am looking at a few more weeks to having a functioning pistol while waiting for the replacement parts after two weeks to get the kit to me in the first place. If I had an extra bolt it would be no bother but I had to steal it from one of my other 7 PSA rifles to use it, yes 7 other PSA guns and various mags etc. I am fully aware of how far they have fallen and its depressing as hell because two of their AK's, a 6.5 Creedmore, a PSA 5 and a few other weapons were going to be adopted to live with the existing colony here but after being censored from their FB page being added to the QC issues and slow shipping its looking like a heck of a risk.

FWIW when I spoke to them about the BCG they are saying they would never do block people from their page even for criticism on the page and saying that I am not showing as banned. I am certainly banned an even unable to leave a review even still and they are the only ones that could do that. Either they are lying or their page mod is banning against their wishes. Even today another person who was being critical of a multi week wait for shipping had his orders cancelled for what he thought was retaliation for the comments related to his orders still in limbo after an completely unacceptable time. Personally I hope they get their act together, they have too much to lose to continue on their current path of self destruction. Every company has issues, lemons etc, its all good if they work to eliminate the problems, years of slow shipping getting worse doesn't seem like progress, censoring people and canceling orders for commenting on their dissatisfaction with PSA's current piss poor customer service is entirely not acceptable.

A company with integrity looks at a comment like this and says this is not acceptable and fixes the problems, they reach out to the customer and asks how can we fix this and makes changes to better themselves. A company with no integrity says silence them before they lose us sales. Their current path is NOT in line with the PSA I came to know.

I’ve bought 8 in the last 2 months. Ordered on Saturday, delivered on Wednesday. I can’t believe they are able to put out such a high quality product for $49.99. Can you provide some photos or evidence? I find it very hard to believe because I’ve had so many these and they are amazing.

And to make matters worse it could be weeks before I get them to look at or send my replacement BCG. It will be 2 months before the new pistol kit with the bad, burred up, non functioning BCG I was sent will be usable. What a joke. I cannot recommend PSA in any way shape or form anymore. They have suicided.

Can you post some evidence to support your claim? These BCG’s are incredible. Super fast shipping. I’ve spent an insane amount of money with PSA over the years and never had a single issue.

Yeah sure, let me go back and time and take time out of my day and make you video documentary to prove to you what I posted. Sure. I will get right on that. You must be some klnd of special there Mr Ed. You will get your evidence when it finally happens to you or you can take the word of the thousands who have said the very same thing on their many products time and time again. It is their legacy, not hard to find.

So I bought two of these a few weeks ago. They arrived this week. Quality is really, REALLY good for $50, but they aren't quite as clean as the Brownell's Nitride BCG. There's more tooling marks on the PSA's. That said, they are WAY better and cleaner than the Bear Creek Arms BCGs. Just my 2 cents.

Tax + shipping bring it to $62.24 to CO. Still not a bad deal

PSA states it takes 3 to 7 business days before they even ship. I have waited 2 plus weeks for my BCG. VERY slow shipping.

Then go to your LGS and buy the same thing for double the price and stop whining on this ad. I’ve bought 8 of these. 2 separate orders. Both delivered in 3 business days. Do you have any evidence to back your claims? Because you are in the minority here. Look at the reviews where they are praised.

You fan girls are too much. Karma is when you finally get bit by them for running your mouth and attacking others about something you are obviously clueless about. If you read the reviews you have already seen they are NOT always praised nor do I have to tell you that because the fact you are in here wrongfully attacking others for what happened to them at the hands of PSA tells me you already know.

Would anyone put this in a pistol?

Sure, why not? Running a few in both 300BLK (8") and 5.56 (10.5/12.5) pistol uppers.

I'm going to get one of these and keep it in my safe next to my AR. That away if I ever have to make my AR full auto for a fight I can just pop this bad boy in and be ready to go!

Takes more than the bcg profile to make a full auto bud.

Hi just learning bout the ar platforms and am wondering where it says full auto profile, what does that mean? Is it that it will work for either just semi or a full auto ar or that it can make a semi auto full auto? No hateful replies please im just asking to learn iv never built a ar thank u

It's just the profile. Sorry for being an asshole. I thought you were trolling.

Full auto bolt is just the profile of the bcg. That alone will not make it full auto.

0 votes
0 votes

Just means that if by chance you can afford a full auto lower this bcg will trip the auto sear. Some BCG's are cut in such a way that they will not function in a full auto rifle, just semi-auto. Welcome to the 2a community!

Says Bolt Steel is 9310, but mine came with a C158 bolt. Not really better or worse, just wasn't exactly as advertised.

0 votes

Either way, Carpenter 158 is far superior. The nitride finish is the icing on the cake. But is is odd that PSA didn’t specify. Regardless I’m super happy I got 4 C-158 Nitride BCG’s for $208.49. As soon as I saw mine staked perfectly with the C-158 stamp I immediately bought another 4.

Great price for a bcg however if quick shipping is your cup of tea then look elsewhere. Been waitin two weeks already.
