Says out now. Tried to checkout and got the out of stock notification. I just bought a 500 round brick the other day so no big deal. Couldn't believe the amount that Cabela's got in Texas.

3/15/2014 Order Confirmation In Stock. Figured they show up soon with Allen Texas Cabelas getting in 700 (500 rnd bricks) 350,000 rnds. Google that! Watch the video...

Not sure why it says out of stock or old deal but it is still vaild as of 5 minutes ago. Thank you to whoever posted the deal!!! Im in CA and for me this is a great deal as it's almost impossible to find 22lr in stock unless I take a day off and camp in front of a local store and there are not many in my area that sell ammo for a fair price. Even with shipping this is a steal. a while back I had to order online and I paid...im ashamed to say 80 for a 525 round brick because I could not wait for others to come back in stock!

Ive been getting this same order for the past month. I have ran 800 rds through my new, just cleaned 10/22. I had one fail to feed out of the 800 using BX-25 mags. The rd had a dent in the casing. Don't know if it was before or after. Zeroed my scope at 25 yds and all rds have been on the money. Very pleased with this ammo.

Yeah, I got the email that it was in stock 4 times now within last hour or so. Should be fine, I've yet to have an ammo order cancelled by Cabela's. Have ordered quite a bit.

I actually talked to them once after I had an order that showed as "in stock" turned into "backordered". The explanation I was given was that the order volume is so high as soon as they stock becomes available, that their system can't keep up. Inevitably there are a few people who get in right at the end that get it in their cart as "in stock", but by the time they finish the order faster people have already claimed the stock (it doesn't come out of stock until someone actually commits to pay for it, rather than it coming out of stock when it's placed into a shopping cart).
They're having a hard time dealing with the sheer volume of orders since they're one of the few places that aren't screwing people over on the prices.

indeed, look like they added $2.22 in taxes to it now.

It took my order but came back with "backordered" . Last time that took an extra 10 days. Plan on not having it for 2-3 weeks.

Disregard. They just changed the bottom portion of my order from Backorder to "IN STOCK". Let the feeding frenzy commence!!

CCI Blazer 22LR back in stock

Whoa!!! They actually had it in stock! $8.95 shipping seems a little high, but to be able to have it for less than $50 these days keeps me a little happy.

It was gone less than 10 minutes after I posted it. If you got some, you were lucky. (Yeah, the $8 brought it to like 7 cents a round for me. Not bad for a CCI product.

I ordered 2 boxes with 2 different cards and it seems to have gone through. Im not hording but i literally have 0 bullets right now.

It will go through, but it will be cancelled in a couple of hours. I've found that unless you can go to their regular site and find it as available it's a no go. Not sure who is reposting this or what is happening, but I'm guessing all the orders placed tonight will be cancelled. ...though I hope I'm wrong.

My orders from Friday and Saturday were cancelled today, Monday.

I've never found this to be the case. Every time I've been able to snag something from Cabela's here on gun.deals, I've checked the "regular" webpage as well as the auto click through link provided here, and the stuff is almost never listed on the regular page.
I shoot a LOT of .22, and buy from Cabelas here on gun.deals as often as possible (not hoarding, just replacing what I go through), and have only had them cancel an order once. I was pissed and contacted Cabelas about it. Their response was that the demand is so high that their inventory system can't update fast enough to keep up with the rate of purchase on ammo (particularly .22) when it's available.

Cabela's must be setting aside a certain amount for places like gun.deals (i.e. stuff goes up for sale and sells out before it ever makes it to the "regular" website page).

Typically that is the case for me as well. I order a fair amount of stuff via gun.deals from Cabelas. However, for whatever reason, this CCI has been cancelled three times in the last two days. I get the confirmation email, I get a delivery date...and then two hours later I get a cancel.

This stuff is not showing up like any other Cabelas ammo. Something is odd. I have had many successful orders, but I've also noticed a pattern with the failed orders. I called them about it yesterday and the lady at Cabelas even asked me if I saw it on gun.deals. She said it was available a few hours earlier but was now sold out and should not be showing up.

I still order when I see it. So like I say, I hope I'm wrong...

Best of luck to all.

I thought elastic items would stop being purchased when the price goes up a lot or when the economy goes down. So ammo really isn't a textbook elastic item like yachts. Seems to be pretty inelastic since they can't keep it in stock

I think the threat of a shortage makes the demand volatile, encourages hoarding.

Ammo isn't needed. It is a want. Elastic products are items that are not needed in everyday life. You don't go shot every 5 minutes do you? Sometimes the want/desire for greed and more more more is much more important than the everyday needs of food, sleep, and fuel.

Just about everyone here is bitching about paying a little bit more for ammo . Yes it has gone up a little but how loud are you bitching about gas prices when Obama took office gas was 1.84 a gallon now its 3.64 diesel fuel is 4.25 how do you think ammo gets delivered . I use a lot more gas then I do ammo. So if you really want to bitch about where your getting screwed you need to look at your government leaders not to mention the epa for shutting down the lead smelters in the US . You should be happy that you can still get ammo you bunch of cry babies.

your right about the gas prices .they went up and never came down .the ammo is going up and may not come back down.that lead smelter closed and things are going up

Gas prices in 2008, under President Bush, were over $4/gallon (gasbuddy.com).
Do you not recall throughout 2007 and 2008 that gas prices were high?
This drag contributed to the recession that resulted in the credit crisis.

Gas prices only went down when the global economy slowed down at the end of the Bush administration.

One way to get low gas prices is to have a recession. This is what occurred at the end of the Bush administration.

Comparing elastic products with an inelastic products is a bad comparison. Ammunition is an elastic product (luxury item). Gasoline is an inelastic product (a need). Silly, business and economics is simple. Also people will bitch regardless.

Try midway usa, but you are already a few months too late to backorder. They stopped backordering for majority of their 22lrs and they will ship by October - December.

Midway will ship backorders in October - December? Hate to rain on your parade but I suggest you verify the shipping date as the expected "in stock" date has been changed to "unknown". My bet is for Midway to cancel all backorders. Hope I'm wrong
