They are still really sloppy actions.
These are very cool guns, but when I tried one out a few years ago, the action was very sloppy on them. I did have high hopes, but ultimately decided to buy a Ruger bolt action in .223. If you decide to order one, make sure you go and at least hold one and test the action at a gun shop...maybe they have improved over the past four years.
What are the practical drawbacks of a sloppy action? Does it rattle when carrying it? Does it fail to load or extract/eject? Is it difficult to work the bolt? Does it cause groups to spread?
(I only have one bolt action, and I never see anything but semis, so I’m genuinely curious what makes a bad one. Mine is cheap and works fine.)
