It shows 10 lbs on this site, but others show 7 lbs, can anyone confirm either? I'm a little hesitant to buy if it is 10 lbs, especially if I don't know why is it heavier than most ARs. Thanks.

Little late to answer, but I do not have this exact model(mine has a heavy contour barrel)
but on the LWRCI website its 7.3lbs. For the 16inch.

Not really impressed with the LWRC short-stroke guns. This is a PHENOMENAL price compared to MSRP, but I have a hard time rationalizing even this cost vs accuracy for this weapon platform. Reliability, fit and finish, and quality are well above-average compared to peers. But if it’s over $1K, it needs to be able to produce 1 MOA groups with quality match ammo and me doing my job as marksman.

I own one, and it does shoot at moa with 62gr Speer LE SP, and less than with some 69-77's MK's from Blackhills and IMI. It'll shoot all day at less than 2" with the brass factory ammo I use and brass reloads. It's a combat gun, not a precision one. Perhaps our expectations are different, but it'll shoot like the rest in the stable. I'm assuming you owned or shot one extensively. Did you contact LWRCI?

I had a limited edition Special Rifle Teams (M6A2R5B16) version for about six months. Loved the rifle, but it shot around 2-3 MOA with my 69gr SMK hand loads with Varget, which is - I agree - fine for a battle rifle. It wasn’t concerning enough that I felt it worth contacting LWRC, so I kept it until I was able to trade it (with appropriate disclaimers).

Again, I’m not knocking LWRCI’s quality, finish, reliability, or pedigree. It’s just that I can get the same and better accuracy elsewhere with other upper-mid manufacturers that offer just as durable products. Both of my DDM4 uppers shoot at or under 1 MOA with the same ammo. Same with my Wilson Combat and Centurion Arms rifles.

I’ll add that a lot of the “review community” found similar results to mine, though there were some good samples with accuracy like you described. Maybe you really lucked out with yours!

That M6A2 was also a HEAVY bitch.

Yeah, I have the A2 piston version also and I agree It is heavy for that type of rifle, especially when you add a sure fire light and the EoTech, but it’s reliable.

Rog that. Yeah, I won't sell mine. I will add that piston and di have different pro's and con's, as you know, so not completely apples to apples. I have a Galil Ace which is strangely accurate, even holding its own against AR10's, but if I'm looking for a precision gun I wouldn't start with a piston. I appreciate the features of these and use it accordingly. And I call her solid, not heavy.............

Appears to be the same deal offered by Gunprime a few years ago...a solid deal on this rifle, though be advised the pictures and parts list don't match exactly. Gunprime has efficient customer service and fast shipping as well.

The only thing that’s different from what they say is the Magpul grip, it shows it with a LWRCI snake skin grip, which is comfortable because it’s on mine, but if I’m missing something else let me know.

4 month old comment...........as i recall the original ad didn't mention the magpul sights vs the skirmish, didn't mention moe grip, and may have shown their prong hider......it's been so long ago they may have confused an A5 with an Enhanced.....no worries......this is a solid deal on an excellent rifle
