After years of hearing the question,"I've got all these different guns, how can I suppress them withone great can?" Gemtech pioneered the concept of theinterchangeable mounting system for a pistol/submachine guns with ourolder TRINITY system suppressor. The MULTIMOUNT system is the nextlogical progression: improving sonic performance adding to theversatility of the TRINITY to make a universal suppressor with noequal: The MM9 has the most firearm mounting options, the lightestweight in its size class, and is constructed of strong materials foruse on subgun to pistol duty!
The MULTIMOUNT bases off ourTALON 9mm AR15/M16 upper as it's primary host. The entire registeredsuppressor threads onto this upper, shielding it under a rock-solidmodular Picatinny 1913-spec rail system for use on a compact shortbarreled rifle or submachine gun. The TALON features Gemtech'snew GUARDRAIL system specifically made to house and protect 1.375 orlesser diameter suppressors. The ability to use the suppressor onother host weapons through the use of innovative firearm mounts hasmade it a commercial favorite - you can use our adapters on many hostfirearms. The modular firearm-mounted adapters to make yourMULTIMOUNT a 3-lug fast attach suppressor for 9mm carbines such asthe MP5 or UZI. You can use our L.I.D. (Linear Inertial Decoupler)recoil device mounted to your pistol for flawless cycling on manyhard-to-function handguns including Glock 9mms. Installing a simplethread-mount adapter on your carbine makes for the shortest packagewith a variety of carbines and also fixed barrel 9mm pistols, andeven in a pinch on .22lr firearms. Available threads for theL.I.D. are 1/2-28 and M13.5x1-(LH), and for the conventional threadmount 1/2-28 and 1/2-36. The MULTIMOUNT's open back design allowsease of cleaning the blast baffle and entrance chamber.
TheLID (Linear Inertial Decoupler recoil device) pistol thread adaptercan be disassembled with no tools - a GEMTECH first - for cleaning,or re-configuring rotational shift. It is available with aninterchangeable thread sleeve for either the popular 1/2-28 threadsused in the USA or the metric M13.5x1(LH) thread used on Europeanfactory threaded barrels. The pistol-mounted L.I.D. threads directlyto many common handguns and works reliably on the Beretta, Glocks,SIGs, HK, S&W, and many others.

Pro tip, if the dealer selling NFA items is calling them class 3, find another dealer. Minimum they are perpetuating wrong terminology, at worse, they are incompetent and will cost you money and time on something that is already high cost/ high time.

Be careful with Bud's on Class III items. I attempted to purchase an item, paid, got confirmation, had a rep email me. That is where the process ended. They basically tell you not to contact them and will not let you speak to the Class III reps by phone. They held the money for 60 days and when I called to check status, they had not sent in paperwork for the transfer to my dealer. At their suggestion, I cancelled the order. They later tried only refunding me part of the payment. Still in dispute, but they will not respond to emails. Standard firearm purchases have been flawless. Class III items seem to be an issue they need to work out.
