Maverick 88 has "twin action bars", the very old ones had single action bar.

I have... It took about 5-6 weeks to get here but luckily I ordered before the major buying spree took full effect... And for a slight review, I'm very impressed. Not because it's a match to similar but far more expensive guns. First it does look good anyone who enjoy something and takes pride they appreciate a good ones along with reliability, as far as the reliability and just as simple effectiveness what it's made for I can't find any reason to complain. It shoots well and true, fires with every trigger squeeze... It is a consumer and price friendly weapon that does exactly what its designed to

I bought the other model, the one without the pistol grip as I don't like a pistol grip on my shotguns and I have no complaints.I paid a little over 100 because I had a coupon SG sent me.Figured for 100 I would take a chance.Turkish made, but FOR THE MONEY Dickinson is alright. It's not a piece of crap but it is not going to be as nice as other shotguns costing 2 to 3 times as much so if you keep your expectations realistically in tune with the price point I think you will be satisfied.

I ordered mine May 13th and they kept pushing my shipping date back. First it said I would receive May 25th. Then they pushed the dates back to June 1. Now it says N/A. But On the website it says they will have it back June 16 in stock. :(

Ordered mine May 7th and I've just received shipping notification email today (June 1). Just to give you some idea of when you can expect to get yours. Hope it helps!

I've looked on Youtube https://youtu.be/Y2OlCESxTJk... and the reviews have been mixed. Some people swear that it's a good piece for under $200...Others swear at it. I believe they are made by AKUS in Turkey or Huglu (also in Turkey) https://www.huglu.com.tr/kategori/products...

To answer the first question & for anyone who may be curious - I purchased one of these about a year or so ago (same price), and have been very pleasantly surprised with the quality for what it cost - remarkable finish, quality assembly and smooth action, sturdy feel to the whole gun, and good comfort and accuracy (other than it being a tad bit longer than I would prefer - but don't Randy Weaver me or anything, lol). That silver marine finish is super nice, and the gun both looks, feels and cycles very sturdy, no rattle at all...the plastic/polymer parts are also solid. (Full disclosure - I've only had it out skeet shooting once, but I actually shot better with this than I did with all the other guns present - Mossberg, Savage, Pardner, Remington - which I think might be due to the very nice ghost ring sights. Worth the money, and even worth the wait (if it is in fact only until June - SG has been known to push back their backorder/"available by" dates more than just once, unfortunately.
This was well worth the money, imo - especially if you're looking for something with that added *tactical* aesthetic.

I've read horror stories on this company and the quality of the build of these shottys. Cheap Chinese made parts apparently, mostly plastic. Anyone have any hands on experience with one?

In the state of SC it has an additional $11 State Tax Fee along with a $10 Gun Fee from SG so even being a member and having a $20 coupon it’s $182.

On website states it’s in stock once purchased, they tell you it’s on back order until June 1.
