Chambered for 5.56x45 NATO, originally derived from .223 Remington, 5.56 NATO is the standardized and most popular cartridge developed for the AR-15 platform. Utilizing a .22 Caliber projectile, the low mass, high-velocity cartridge allows superior weapons handling with manageable recoil and high accuracy. With a wide variety of ammunition choices on the market, 5.56 NATO chambered AR-15s are 'multi-caliber' and can reliably fire both 5.56x45 NATO and .223 Remington cartridges.

This medium profile barrel is chambered in 5.56 and has a 1:7 twist rate and is also ideal for 55-85 grain bullets. The nitride finish on this barrel helps to make it less vulnerable to corrosion and also pretty durable. This barrel is dimpled which makes installing the mid length gas system easy to install and align. to allow easy and secure gas block alignment.

Red Dot Sights have their origin from aircraft gunsights or 'collimators' where the shooter's reticle is projected on a clear lens/glass pane allowing for easier target acquisition and a clearer sight picture of a target, later adapted for smalls arms rifles, red dots exist to be incredibly sturdy, and reliable open sight picture 'optics'. Red Dot Sights(RDS) allow for faster target acquisition due to their wide-open glass nature and featuring almost unlimited eye relief as the projected reticle is reflected off of the glass and back into the shooter's eye. meaning you can see your point of aim from almost anywhere on a rifle or pistol. About this Sight System: The Liberator is a super compact, highly accurate Point-of-Aim Green Dot Sight. A clear 1X magnification with three bright reticle options allows for lightning fast sight picture acquisition with both eyes open. Light weight but tough, it is engineered to withstand 800 G's of impact. It is waterproof, fog resistant and features a silver lens coating.
