The PDP doesn't come with a mounting plate out of the box, but as soon as you know which red dot you want, you simply contact Walther to get the corresponding optic mounting plate absolutely FREE of charge. (That means you aren't getting charged for optics plates you'll never use.) The ergonomics of the Walther PDP are designed around making the switch to the popular red-dot sight system easier for the new RDS shooter and faster for the RDS veterans. The bottom of the grip has been swept forward so that when you grasp the grip frame, your pinky pulls the muzzle upwards—allowing you to get onto the red dot sight picture faster.
