It appears that the FFL has to place the order for the buyer because I don't see anything in my cart after I added to my cart.

Buy buy buy... These are great guns! Not like their American cousin. Customize your springs, order some cool as hell grips from LOK.... And shoot the snot out of it! I have yet to find an American gun that will cycle as smooth as these, yes.. I paid extra, and suggest you do the same.. Shipping is fedex, just call them.. Fax them your fav FFL. It's not rocket science to pick up the phone and find out your dealing with some helpful folks.

I asked my local FFL if he would agree to accept the gun if I ordered it and he did.

SOG requires an FFL in your name. How the hell are you guys ordering from them?

Call them first. I did, a very nice lady answered, and I explained I'm not an FFL, but wanted to use my local guy. He wasn't on their list but she said fine, just have him fax/email his license to them and reference my invoice number. Just like most online sales. That's my experience anyway. (FYI, shipping is a little pricey but it's 2nd day air.)

Prices need updating in decsription. SOG prices currently:
$339.00 - Like New
$319.00 - Excellent + Handpick
$309.00 - Excellent
$289.00 - Very Good + Handpick
$279.00 - Very Good

Am very pleased with mine from SOG (excellent grade). But be careful, these things are like potato chips (no one can eat just one).

I don't care for how they process their orders. They don't realize how lazy we have gotten with clicking the mouse button as little as possible and paying for shipping without knowing the shipping isn't my cup o' joe either...

All my FFL fees in the area are $50 plus and stupid $10 processing fee.

Damn, I hate paying $25+$10. At $60, Academy would probably get all my business.

Bought one of these when PSA had them for 259 + 17 for shipping. 15 for the FFL fee and I had a great pistol for under 300. The gun I received was in great shape with a slight bit of rust around the barrel where it met the top of the slide ring on the front of the gun. Other than that the bore was great, minimal scratches. Great shooter. The sights are small so I put a stripe on the front to get a better picture.

I believe I paid around $22 to Pa. I bought the mid grade. Fantastic gun. very little wear, great shooter. I decided to get another, this time the excellent grade. As close to perfect as u can get for a gun of that era. There are fine firearms. I'm thinking about another.

Hate it when sites don't provide shipping charge info before submitting personal or payment info

I bought four of these when they first came in... In two days friends talked me out of them! Lol
Went to pick up one more and gone! Out-nada!
I'm willing to pay the extra for an excellent like new etc.. As all four I got were in great condition! Yes, to anyone who is downing them for the bottom mag release... Remember, these are Italian cop guns! Made by the Italian shop, not the U.S. Jam-o-matic version! So for hundreds less, buy one.. Get a superior 92 series gun, pull the keeper spring on a blackhawk hokster, knock off two edges of the retention bar, and have a $9.99 paddle holster! Then use your Italian mag to mark your GI surplus $5 mags, and get out a dremel tool and cut the notch right... Or buy the newer mag with both notches. Strip it down, grease it up and compare it to a new U.S. Beretta, you will be amazed! And who gives a hoot if your sub $350 berreta has a few beauty marks.. Refinish it, or get over it. It's still cheaper than $550 for a new BERxxx 92 that needs break in and tuning etc.
Heck, buy the cheaper one, park the slide, cerikote the frame, be original! What's not to like???

got a link to $5 gi mags?
ive seen $15 shipped last yr, but not $5..

dremel on the new mags without heel cuts aint as easy as it looks. for starters its pretty hard steel in the mags, but its also hard to get a -precise- measurement for where the hole goes do to shape of the feed lips. i dunno how precise the measurement needs to be though. i roughed one mag up with a cut wheel and it hand cycles ok. if i were to do it again i would do a pilot hole with a drill, then open it up with a file or maybe a cheap and underpowered rotary.

but like i said, i dunno how precise that heel cut measurement needs to be. seems like the top of the cut is most important

I bought one of these ("Like New") from SOG several months ago.
Dark pitted bore. The exterior wear was fairly minor but nonetheless in excess of what I'd consider acceptable for "Like New." The mag had some substantial finish wear but functions fine. I've purchased handguns rated Excellent from other sellers whose condition was significantly better than what I got from SOG.

I bought right when they became available on SOG's site. At that time they were simply listed as "Like New"; I noticed that the additional "NOT BRAND NEW but..." came some time (a couple weeks, I believe) later, which leads me to suspect that they possibly received complaints about the advertised condition being misleading.

Just my experience for what it's worth. I wasn't pleased with what I got.

These are the Italian with bottom. Please give link to a like new for less than $349.
I bought one from classic $299 plus $20 for select and got one that was trash. No finish on top of slide unless rust counts as a finish and a lot of scratches on the receiver. I emailed classic about returning and swapping they never answered.
My brother in law got one of these $299 and it was so much better than my hand select.
The only cheaper 92s in were psa and they were a gamble. Dans had some like new but they were like $500 bucks and sold out very quick.

$349 for a "like new, but not brand new?" with one magazine. They don't tell you their shipping charges until after you order. WTF?

One mag only, condition?

Not so sure if this is such a good deal. Beretta mags are not cheap.

Are these some of those Italian Imports with the bottom mag release that I've seen much cheaper?

Can't speak to the rest, but these do have the magazine release at the heel of the grip.

Yeah, its kind of a bummer that these are double action only.i updated the listing to reflect the DAO.

It seems like DAO pistols were the rage when semi-autos were adapted by police forces.

They only sell to ffl dealers. You can not buy and ship to the dealer, the dealer has to order and pay for it. Then you purchase from the dealer at the price he sets plus tax. I wish they were a retailer.

you beat me to it...

by the time you give the FFL their 10% cut, then pay transfer, etc etc....

so, not a thumbs down, but a select deal.
