Steel cased ammo is like .24 cents a round I think that's a decent ammo price for 6.5 Grendel. I just bought a bear creek 24" ss fluted upper for $230/$240 shipped from primary arms. I think getting the longer barrel is the way to go if want to get a ballistic advantage with 6.5 over let's say a 7.62x39 etc. I also see people selling 16-18" .224 Valkyries lol which also doesn't quite make sense to me either..... And then there's 7.62x39 with 10.5" barrels I see lots selling and that really gets annoying also cause you really want a 12.5" barrel min for that caliber.

I got a BCA 20" from Primary. I heard that BCA doesn't recommend steel case. Haven't fired mine yet, just got it last week.

Seems like more people are buying 6.5 Grendel rifles. I hope ammo eventually comes down in price.
