Are you trying to post a deal? There is a method for that.
It helps if you put other words with the link so people know what you think. I personally think that AR pistol is a rip off at that price.
RF85 is not worth $500.
Also, proper netiquette would dictate you remove the url modifiers. For example, take out the "mobile=true" before you post. Our devices can figure it out for themselves.
So anyone have any issue with the fact the front sight post rail doesn't align with the rear sight rail? I would imagine just by looking at this it would make it difficult to use iron sights unless you added a different gasblock. That's the only thing that's making me pass this one up. If anyone with experience with this rifle who ordered one knows could you let me know. Thanks in advance.
Simply order a full height front site. They are normally fixed, so you could not get a flip/folding sight. UTG/Leapers make them. Make sure it's labeled hi-rise.
I bought one. Lower is a fully assembled lower in a retail Anderson branded box. The lower assembly ships to FFL. The upper is also fully assembled (also in Anderson retail box) and ships in a separate shipment to your personal shipping address.
If they ship it separately, you don't have to pay the 11 percent federal excise tax.
I would be a little worried, however, most "un-assembled" rifles do NOT come with a warranty.
If you have a problem with one part, say the lower, do you only ship that back and only that gets warranty service???
"The lower would be shipped to an FFL Dealer of your choosing. The upper would be shipped to your home."
Sorry stacking999 for the 'down' vote I bumped it accidentally whilst using my mobile...
Considering getting this. Anyone have good experience with ordering? Does it come with the upper and complete lower. A little confused by the parts kit in description and some reviewed saying it wasn't complete or put together. I'm guessing it just needs to be attached and ships apart.
Just bought a SW Sport 2 for 499.99. If these Anderson's fell below 440 I might consider getting one. Get the deals while you can gentlemen.
Anderson makes high quality AR's for a low price. Still, it's a buyer's market for $500 AR's (check out the link here for AR-15 rifles under $500" ). If I was in the market, I'd buy a Bear Creek (for the lightest AR you can buy), a S&W Sport, or a Del-Ton AR.
Wise is cheaper by $30( if it's the same model)
"Anderson AR-15 223/5.56 16" Barrel 30 Rnd - $450 after code "REPEAT"
Frodotheorc does not know why people are referring to themselves in that person. Frodotheorc does not even like 3rd person gaming. Frodotheorc likes first person only.
Why are people refering to themselves in the third person on this post?
Iraqveteran8888 killed an Anderson barrel with 830 or so rounds on full auto. But like midwest said, it's not made for that type of use.

Not at this price.
midwestbanker doesn't know anything about RF85

I do agree with her on one thing, it is a great price. I recommend this one or the Magpul version Kentucky has.
NewMexican is right, I have never heard about an RF85 barrell option. Very helpful information posted on that and we thank her for this. Good luck huntinghobbit and hope this helps you.
If you mean melonite or other salt bath treatments, I do not believe it does. Not chrome lined either. Still a great price regardless and more gun than most of us normal shooters need for plinking and self defense unless you are going to go to war and fire thousands of rapid fire rounds from a overheated barrel.
I would seriously love to grab one of these. But my FFL transfer over here in So-Cal is $75...on top of the $25 DROS...and then the firearm transferred is taxed the purchase price, so another $40. So I'd have to pay an extra $140 just to transfer the poor thing. Some other local gun shops would charge a bit less for the transfer, but not much. $50 minimum. :::Sigh:::
@NewMexican
Since black Friday I bought 2 AR's . I don't wanna dip in to my 401K :-)
Me too. I don't think there is any downside on these buys right now. I'm well under $500 on my last three builds/buys with good basic optics/sights counting shipping and FFL. Probably better than any stock market investments at this time. Stock up some feed for these beasts too while ammo is reasonable. Not really seeing a downside to these investments unfortunately (and sadly) compared to the stock market. I consider it a good diversification of my portfolio.
Come on, at this price, everyone should be getting on.
I, myself, will, except first thing I'm doing is pulling off the gas block for the F-marked FSB:

Seeing this makes me laugh at all of the Mall Ninja's that just had to buy one a few years ago at $2500-$3500
It makes me cry. They are still my 2nd Amendment brothers and sisters.
I would rather see Anti-self defense people cry, but whatever floats your boat.
But it wasn't any "Self-Defense" people who bought them. Most people already owned an AR or two by the time Sady Hook "Happened". I laugh at all of the Mall Ninja's who "Had" to buy one and then dress them up like a Barbie Doll
