gun.deals...please stop promoting these predatory, sleazebag dealers. I realize you get a referral fee for every click to their site but is that really worth crawling in bed with Lucky Gunner? Show some common decency.
These clowns jacked their prices up before the first COVID press conference was over.

Steeper than dirt, ammoland, and now these guys. Even got tards that's trying to resell primers at 8000%.
Good thing I stocked up before the “noob surge”. Price gouge much? Lucky Gunner just fell of my list of consideration when next I need some ammo.
look, the price matches buyer’s IQ number!
Food for thought: Luckygunner may not be catering to just experienced/long time gun owners who among them have hoarders who buy more than they need ("need" being subjective). They MAY be catering to new shooters who don't have a large ("large" being subjective" cache already, OR are out/low (again subjective) on specific rounds. You can find worse prices that are truly price gouging out there.
I was upset at luckygunner's prices are first but then I looked around online for ammo and saw how hard it is even as an experienced owner knowing what to look for. I can imagine this is more difficult for new owners. So maybe luckygunners is a valuable source for new owners who just need some ammo for now and when the market is more favorable to buy more they will.
Food for thought: New gun owners are going to be running around with FMJ, because nobody in their right mind would pay 90.00/shipped for SD ammo.
thats a whole other topic tho, we're not responsible for anyone's research, intelligence or decisions. Quality HPs have always been more expensive than FMJ so people who are too cheap to pay for quality HP probably decided on FMJs before the current inflated prices. If there is an urgent need for HP, at least the offer is there as oppose to hoarders buying all the ammunition so those who do need them dont even have an option.
Let's charge new car owners $10,000 over MSRP to so there isn't a car shortage
You're arguably exaggerating your hypotheticals to an extreme there. But if you want to compare buying ammunition to cars, are you suggesting we should require buyers to have a license, and insurance to purchase ammunition? Are you suggesting we register our ammunition every year?
But back to your original statement, The deal is there if you DON'T want/need it, but the deal is there if you DO want/need it. Of course there are better deals out there, just like there are worse deals. Bad deals, no one wants. Not bad deals, some will want. Good deals, hoarders will buy all of them so they don't exist for very long.
You carry without a permit? You pay tax when you buy ammo? You transfer guns through an FFL? If you need perfect examples, I can't provide them since ammo is ammo and not orange's. If you want to limit hording then limit 2 boxes per physical address instead of jacking the price up to near 3 times the price. I've gotten 357 sig golddots at $25 for a box of 50. Feel free to defend this stupidity and lick their boots.
When Trump wins and ARs are $500 again, Lucky Gunner can kiss my @××
Now you are comparing prices of private businesses to fees for government regulated permits, taxes and services. Are you suggesting government should regulate prices of private owned businesses? I never said I bought anything from Lucky Gunner, the deal is there and like you are suggesting you can find better deals if you look for it.
Government regulates wages, taxes on product ( cigarettes for example), control of manufacturing waste, importation fees and I'm sure a lot of other things. Every one of these things effects the cost a seller transfers to the buyer. So they already control and regulate your price in multiple ways.
Unpopular opinion and bash if you must but if some clown wanted to give me $2 a round for a couple thousand rounds, which isn't going to be unheard of by November, for this very round that I paid 62 cents for, you bet I'd think about that deal. Fact is, the people on this board were never customers at this place and never will be. I've stopped thinking about the gouging so much and, instead, choose to think of posts like this as more of a barometer for the market. A, this is what the underprepared are facing and are willing to pay. Good news is that guns themselves are starting to side step a bit. Coming down some as ammo dries up. Hopefully some decent rebates and prices this winter.
I have no interest in 9MM ammo at this price but this still doesn't qualify as price gouging. It's capitalism. The market will work this out. If nobody will buy this at $65 per box then they'll have to unload it at a lower price. The old supply/demand equation.
Really Joe. Why dont you buy it then. You say you have no interest, then you defend them.
Offer them $60 so you can start the ball rolling
gouging.. [gou-jing]
1. the act of charging exorbitant prices for goods or services which often exploits a national crisis, natural disaster or social unrest.
$65 is not exorbitant.
check out alamoammo.com They are charging $80 for a 25rd box of Hornady 9mm Critical Defense
Just because you can find it higher elsewhere doesn't mean $65 is not exorbitant. This is straight up gouging by a shit company.
Holy hell Im glad Ive never bought from these jokers. Thats just ASSHOLE pricing right there!
Holly mother of god, $1.30 a round? Is this a typo?
The only way to get back at people like this is NEVER buy from them again. Even when price get back to normal (if they ever do). Then you'll see how fast they chang their toon. Then they can stick their 65 dollar box of 9mm right up their ass
still people are buying this crap, hilarious.
Remember this when things level out. Lucky gunner is in the no buy box for me along with cheaper than dirt
Yep. Their main customer base - gun nuts with too much money - won’t buy this. We have ammo. We’re the ones who will still be customers when things calm down. But, We will remember forever though. Forever. Don’t care how CB rap their shit is after the panic passes. Won’t give them a dime again.
Including a jar of Vaseline as a courtesy at this price?
Wonder if they're giving a reach around with that bending over of the customer....
Absolutely obscene and egregious price gouging and profiteering. Lucky Gunner is selling this ammo at a 200% markup over the law enforcement full retail price. Shameful business ethics.
