do some reading on "price gouging" .... theres a difference....
the free market allows folks to raise prices at a time like this.... then it discourages panic buying. and PREVENTS gouging. yes prevents. if price remains the same, all the old retired guys are gonna buy all of these up at old prices, then take them to the gun show, and sell them at an inflated price....
like they did with 22lr.
if the free market says "hold up, increased demand, lets increase price so that will make the panic buyer think twice" this also covers the fact that once the demand goes up, supply decreases, puts strain on the manufacturer, who has to pay his employees overtime, and thus the price goes up at the beginning of the chain as well. this curtails demand, leaves some for the folks "who need it" and prevents unscrupulous folks from making a quick buck...
i mean comeon, y0ur gonna complain about amazon gouging?!?!? they made trillions of dollars last year right? you think their whole motivations was, lets make it 1.0001 trillion?!?!?? get real! and educated! and prepared so you dont have to squawk about "gouging"

raising prices over 20% during a declared disaster is legally price gouging in Texas. Maybe you should do the reading?
And Amazon is actively banning price gougers online. Maybe, again, it is you that needs to educate yourself.

you mean cheaper than dirt is trying to temper demand via price increase? ok, good, then maybe if i want something theyll have it when i want it instead of you buying it at low, non-panic price, "cause price increases are immoral" then reselling it to me at an even higher rate than CTD is currently asking.... gotcha
Extreme price increase when supply line is still available and just cashing in on peoples panic is immoral. A slight increase is understandable, you don't have to use price to temper depend. You can just limit purchase quantity.
