Received mine. Seems ok quality. The firing pin is not tight (loosen) and seems a bit longer than those BCGs I bought from Palmetto State Armory.

This is a fantastic deal on a great BCG, and Alpha ships very fast. I had just purchased a base model BCG elsewhere for $80 plus shipping which was as cheap as I could find, but I still jumped on this deal. Thanks Alpha.

Very happy with the quality of these. Super fast shipping (priority mail USPS), only $7! Just bought 2, should have bought one more for a spare.

Just received mine. Wow. for the price I'm impressed. Slightly weird back carrier profile. It seems to be an octagon profile in the back in stead of perfectly round, but fit and finish is excellent.

Bolt is marked "MP"

Gas key is using standard fasteners and appears to be staked "ok".

I paid 190 for 3 of these, so I'm happy. For 63/each, it appears I got a bargain.

I just wanna say, after reading the age old comments, that Cobratac is trying to deflect from their own failures. Failures of decent pricing which they are not. Cobratac emails are the worst kind of click bait, they advertise specials but in the email you actually have to go to their website to find out the true cost of their products. Once you are there you quickly realize their pricing sucks, not competitive. They are a job shop, they buy parts from other dealers and assembly shit themselves, thus the mark up. True builders know to stay the fuck away from cobratac. Cobratac, don't be hating on other dealers prices, when you know you buy their product to utilize in your own "branded productS". I do enjoy the irony of cobratac digging on another dealer to save themselves money, but it did nothing but make them look like the fools that they are. Btw, in for 5 of these myself as a builder.

Finish looks good in the pictures, 60 is a good price for a Nitrate BCG.. unfortunately I hear shipping is around 10.. I can't confirm since you have no shipping est in cart.. I absolutely abhor shops online that require you to go thru most of the check out price just to find out shipping charge.

I think I'll wait for the next deal.

I have been using one of these in several of my uppers over the last few years ranging from pistol to carbine to rifle length. It's a good BCG for the money. I did notice a little chip (tiny) in the finish the last time i cleaned it. So in two years one tiny chip and easy clean up and requires nearly no lube what so ever. Even if you just have it as a back up this is a good deal.

Is this a 223/5.56 bolt

Yes, on the website it says "M16 Bolt Carrier Group".
This would make for an excellent back-up or replacement BCG.
One of these days I'll have a spare. Hopefully before I actually NEED it.

Fair enough. Here's the full description:

This 5.56mm Bolt Carrier Group is Nickel Boron coated and features a Carpenter 158 shot peened bolt. The gas key is hardened and secured with Grade 8 fasteners, and is staked per Mil-Spec.

We purchased two of these and are happy with them so far. No excessive wear on the carrier or bolt after use. I didn't have the checkout problems others are having when we bought them a couple of months ago. The guy ships quickly.

Not sure if it's a bad link or a site issue, but I'm seeing someone else's info when I go to checkout.

Hey there Viral, we'd like to get more info on this so we can work with our shopping cart host to resolve this. Can you please e-mail us more details? We did just run a test check out and it seemed to work fine.

I think what's happening is users are getting to the second checkout screen where you default to local pickup, i.e. sales tax. if the customers would get to the third page with the billing and shipping info, I believe the sales tax will go away. it did for me in TX.
Order Summary
Item Qty Price Each Total
M16 BCG - Nickle Boron 1 $99.95 $99.95
Subtotal $99.95
Shipping (Standard Shipping) Change $12.75
Tax $0.00
Order Total $112.70

Angry Bill you identified the issue exactly. Thank you for that, we will be making changes to our cart.

I wouldn't really call this an issue other than people seem to be rushing to call wtf and you're potentially loosing sales. the "issue" goes away on the third checkout page. IF you could prevent the cart from defaulting to local pickup OR rearrange the checkout screens to ask for billing/shipping info before providing the subtotals it would clear up a little.

why is shipping so high and your collecting taxes for an out of state sale? if shipping were reasonable and you dropped the taxes this is a great deal!!

Seems inappropriate for a dealer to comment on another dealers prices.

Dealer to dealer comments should be conducted in private, it's very unprofessional to have it any other way.

It's like this at every forum and every deal site. You should wake up and smell the roses.

Our website charges tax for CA addresses. Give us a call and we'll get you taken care of if you still experience these issues. I also see you're a dealer, we can get you set up with dealer pricing on our products.
