Not technically a firearm accessory, but many people adopt tool bags for use.

I've been waiting for this to go on sale for a range bag, and here it is, $15 off! It has 5 pockets on each side that are big enough for Pmags or 7.62x39 AK mags, with just a little wiggle room on the sides. Even the slightly wider Tapco mags fit just fine. The whole bottom is a single large piece of plastic/rubber with two long hard plastic 'rails' for resting on. Wheels seem very durable, as does the bag itself. This thing is huge on the inside. Lots of small pockets for tools and things, and elastic along the outside of the small pockets for attaching or holding down other tools. One side has a long velcro flap, for a level or something, but could also be used for a slim cleaning kit with rod.

At 27" it is also large enough for many firearms. I fit my AR15 pistol PLUS a folded AMD-65 (at a slight angle) inside and they took up less than half the space. It is also locking, which being cloth, wont keep out a determined thief, but may keep out small hands or people too curious for their own good.

Im sure there are similar or better deals online, but if you have been looking at tool bags, you know quality can vary widely. Many of the cheap ones are just not rugged enough to handle the duties of a range bag, particularly tool bags of this size. This is a deal you can check out the quality of the bag in store before purchasing.

They also have a smaller 19" (22" long) bag with 4 exterior pockets per side on sale for $16.99, might work better for some people.

Good post. Thinking outside the box. A member at the range was using something similar in design the other day, it immediately caught my eye. It was smaller of course, he used it for two pistols, stapler, the norm. It had room fro 5 mags on each side and was totally low key. If this were marketed for guns it would be listed as 1000 denier, tactical this, blah blah blah and be near $100.

I guess some would rather spend $300 on a guitar shaped case and live out their Antonio Banderes fantasies.

Menards is, "THE EVIL EMPIRE". Cheap products with In Store rebates so you keep going back. They are Walmart with lumber. I avoid them except as a last resort. All that aside, I may need to slip into the local Menards and check this bag out. As long as the $15 off is not via a rebate, it might not be too bad of a deal.
