Description
Smith & Wesson® M&P®9 M2.0TM Threaded 9mm Semi-automatic Handgun How does "almost perfect" become "perfect?" It's simple. You take a wildly popular striker-fired pistol like the original M&P, preserve the features that made it an instant classic, and make a number of key improvements based on input from devotees and critics alike. First and foremost is a new trigger that's crisper and lighter, with tactile and audible reset…so you can hear and feel it through the frame. The grip has been redesigned with the proven 18-degree grip angle, offering a more natural point of aim. You'll notice that the beavertail is less pronounced, resulting in a higher grip that puts more "meat" behind the bore axis, reducing muzzle lift and keeping you on target. The grip has been overhauled with much more aggressive texturing for more confident hold, and now includes 4 interchangeable palmswell grip inserts compared to the 3 that came with the original M&P—so you can really dial in your fit. Inside, the rigid embedded stainless steel chassis has been extended, reducing flex and torque when shooting. S&W also shaved a little material off the slide, reducing weight by a few ounces, and they applied an Armornite® corrosion-resistant finish, another upgrade over the original. Please note: This model does NOT have the thumb safety. 4.625" stainless threaded barrel accommodates a suppressor, 1/2x28 TPI Backwards-compatible with original M&P magazines and holsters New trigger assembly lightens the trigger pull weight while adding an audible, tactile reset High grip-to-bore axis makes the M&P pistol more comfortable to shoot, reducing muzzle rise and allowing for faster aim recovery Proven optimal 18-degree grip angle for natural point of aim Aggressive grip texture for enhanced control Four interchangeable palmswell grip inserts for optimal hand fit and trigger reach: S, M, ML, L Steel skeleton under the polymer makes it much more rigid, reducing flex and torsion and helping to mitigate recoil Thinner slide with new ArmorniteTM finish for enhanced corrosion resistance Tall white 3-dot steel sights for quick target acquisition Backed by a Manufacturer's Limited Lifetime Warranty and Lifetime Service Policy Includes two 17-rd. magazinesOrder today!

Is this qualified for $50 S&W summer rebate?
In my area the minimum FFL transfer fee is 40$. It defeats all the purpose of buying stuff online :-( FFL dealers are so gready. Charging 40$ for making a phone call or most likely typing stuff into computer is too much. Some of them asking as much as 70$. It makes me want to donate money to Dianne Feinstein. They all talk about protecting 2nd amendment but when it comes to be fair to customers they act like bunch of greedy crooks.
Fully Loaded only charges us $20 for a transfer per form no matter how many.
Look up FFL finder or FFL locator... You can find one cheaper for sure. My area is the same way, any place even on the radar for guns is overpriced.
It's thier way of retaliation when you don't line thier pockets or make half their car payment on a single purchase. They can kiss my ass. I use an auctioneer of all places, woulda never even guessed, $25 and that's per visit, NOT per gun so if I order say 3 lowers and a pistol she only charges me $25.
yep, going to make some phone calls, they need my ffl dealer send them papers within 6 days or my deposit lost. if sportsman guide really wants to sell, why dont they handle this paper work load, call the FFL and tell them what they want. Sure I will do such thing myself but it is not my fault that FFL transfer is a law of industry. Online sellers should do these things at their own will and not make customers to be in charge of coordination.
Damn dude, sounds like you're getting yanked from both ends. All you should need to do is provide the retailer your FFL's name and email, shipping address and phone & fax number. (typical business card info) The retailer/seller should have someone who verifies that info. I usually email both parties, as a courtesy to inform them of who they'll be dealing with just to expedite the process. Getting the FFL's info is the trickiest part, after that it's smooth sailing. Good luck.
My only close 25$ FFL shop is actually a factory. They reload ammo in bulk. Owner is a good guy but he is very busy. There is a girl who is helping him but she might be off. So I am trying to make sure she would be able to fax all papers in 6 days. It is a normal thing. Will do all stuff. And you are right - it is better to purchase 2-3 items. Then it does not affect the price. Not sure SG have AK deals ..
Let me guess...they over-stocked these with the Hearing Protection Act passing in mind? Oh well, I finally gave up and bought one, as the big brother to my M&P Shield.
