The problem with these p series optics (I have two) is that the turrets can't be locked. Once I zeroed mine they kept getting accidentally turned. I just use the bdc so I eventually resorted to a piece of gorilla tape to keep them from moving. Just my experience.

Last year I picked one of these up for an 18” Palmetto AR-10. I had an extra Nikon M series mount so I used that. After three shots, the elevation turret snapped off. Took it back for a new one. Exact same thing but took five shots. Took it back for a Vortex Diamondback and have not looked back.
