Thats a good deal. The hk trigger and the stock are negatives but not deal breakers-at a k. These were comonly sub MOA out of the box. Id rather have a POF 415 but its 2.5x the cost. There were mag wells to let these use 15 mags back when... IMO at $1 k this represents value for those desiring a precision piston gun. Twist is good for 77s and HK sexy to boot. At $1k the trigger and negatives are worth messing with. After all if you dont want Euro wierdness you can be just another guy with a 15 at the range. No wierdness - no euro sexy. Nice project. Euro sexy but with performance not jive. There are people who can work these triggers. Alpha Romeos are neat cars. Just realize you get out your wallet to even change the spark plugs. Hell hk 94s are 4K in a chipmunk caliber! :) Turkish wanabe clones of hk chipmunk caliber 94 are a K! When HK pro forum learns of this my guess is these will be gone yesterday. Me- Im too old to take on euro wierdness but I still admire those that do. :) AND POOF there gone. faster than i could write this

I just bought mine. Honestly kind of in between just leave it as is or do some type of conversion down the road.
I don't *need* it to be the high speed black ops gun, I have a B&T APC223 for that. If Tommy is doing a rerun on the PSG8 I might sign up for that.
In the meantime I'd probably just run it as is and enjoy a bit of 80/90s quarks. Been eyeing it for years and finally it's cheap enough for me to say screw it.

Nice job. Well done. Leave it stock. Play with it. Let your friends and relatives play with it after they wash your truck. Check out that fabulous Teutonic trigger that Tommy says nothing can be done with. He would know.Or machine a lower for it that takes a 15 trigger. :) Dont shoot it. Oil it up . Put in the safe. It will be worth double in three years. It went up 20% in three days.

In a pinch I would take a Garand. THe sl-8 makes a Garand look petite. The guys that bought Garands back in the day are wealthy now. Not me Im stupid and poor. Signed Elmer.:)
