Chambered for 5.56x45 NATO, originally derived from .223 Remington, 5.56 NATO is the standardized and most popular cartridge developed for the AR-15 platform. Utilizing a .22 Caliber projectile, the low mass, high-velocity cartridge allows superior weapons handling with manageable recoil and high accuracy. With a wide variety of ammunition choices on the market, 5.56 NATO chambered AR-15s are 'multi-caliber' and can reliably fire both 5.56x45 NATO and .223 Remington cartridges.

This barrel is 16-inches long and made from 4150 steel with a nitride finish to improve its strength and longevity. It is chambered in 5.56 NATO and has a 1:7 twist rate. This reliable barrel has a Government profile and operates on a mid gas system.

This A2 flash hider has a classic and effective design. Flash hiders are essential in position concealment and keeping your vision clear; especially in low light situations. This design has a flat bottom which means the gasses won't kick up dust because they are directed up and to the sides. It has a 1/2x28 thread pitch and a Manganese Phosphate finish to protect it from corrosion. This A2 flash hider is a classic because it simply does a great job.

The nitride finish helps make it resistant to corrosion and increases its strength. It has been MPI and HPT tested to ensure its quality. Magnifiers were created for use alongside Red Dot Sights and Holographic sights. Due to the nature of Red Dots and Holographic sights not typically providing any form of magnification, shooters wished to use a system to take advantage of the Red Dot Sight and Holographics close range performance, and still be able to provide accurate fire in longer-range scenarios. Hence the magnifier was created for use in tandem with optical collimator sights to add the added benefit of being able to use a red dot out to a greater effective range, at only the cost of weight.
About this Sight System: The Northtac MM3 is equipped with 3X magnification and adds versatility to any Northtac optic. The premium lenses offer a crisp sight picture with optimal eye relief. Complete with turret adjustment to center the red dot and a fine focus ring the user can easily engage targets even further than before. The magnifier out the box will work with any Lower 1/3 Co-Witness height optic and mounts to any Picatinny style rail. The canted locking feature easily allows for the user to engage or disengage the magnifier by locking it to the side or back in place.
Magnification: This Magnifier is to be used alongside a Red Dot Sight or Holographic sight, and has a 3x power magnification.
