PRODUCT INFORMATION & SPECS
SELLER DESCRIPTION
Originally introduced in 1987, the Ruger P85 was later referred to as the P85 MKII. It isn't perhaps the nicest looking pistol, but what it lacks in looks, it makes up for in reliability and accuracy. This rugged handgun is great for self-defense.

Guns.com's "Free S/H on Firearms" is Total BullSh#t! They charge $18 for "handling, processing, and insurance" for every gun they ship for "free".

OMG, I bought a P95 NEW for $300 back in ought-four. $420 is the clearance price for an even older model...in rough condition? LOL Guns.com is evil....

Just like you others are saying these were Ruger's first real ,"budget pistols". They are super chunky, heavy. Bad triggers, grips and sights.
Reliability is hit and miss too, especially the hit, self defense ammo with aggressive hollow point type bullets.
I've bought and owned probably 10 of these over the past 20 years and all were bought or traded at a value less than $200. I've even bought a couple as low as $100. Sorta like the "HiPoint" of Ruger, if that makes sense. Anyway yeah this price is twice what it should be. Check local pawn shops, gun shows and gun shops, you'll most likely be able to pick one of these or the P90 less than $200-$250. Good luck!
As always this is my own personal opinion and thoughts, You certainly have your own opinion and thoughts and I will respect that, I simply ask you do the same.

I'll give you $200 shipped/taxed out the door. If they can inflate I can deflate.

Still have my old P89…and it’s a great shooter. But it’s also big and clunky; it’s just not quite up to the standards of the modern 9mm. For $420, I’d pass unless you really love you some P-series from Ruger!

Same, mine is big, clunky, but somehow very accurate. I definitely paid less than this new, however. Btw, check out Hoplopfheil’s excellent yootoob review of the P series, he’s had just about every iteration.
