I got the fiocchi version with a fold crimp from ammoland delivered for $96 mid September...
and it came in 10/ 25rnd boxes
I have a bunch of this. It's great ammo, and the best price going right now.
These used to go for around $99 a case ($1.98) a box plus shipping when on sale prior to the price increases.
Good, reliable ammo though. I have both the regular and low recoil.
Why only 2.5 stars? The price looks good for buckshot. Are the shells not good? Any links to reviews?
Thanks.
RIO has been known to exhibit feeding problems for some semiauto drivers. Probably a combination of marginally too-long or too-large for spec crimps and variable powder charges that have to be expected with bargain basement blasting ammo. Have never heard of anyone having problems with it in a pump action tho'; brute force & obstinacy have their merits! ;-)
roll crimp on the rio sux! also they had powder ignition/burn problems in brutal cold, slight hangfires, loss of velocity etc they seem to be fairly reliable over 35-40 degrees but they still pattern like crap
they may have fixed the temperature problem, i'll never find out first hand... rio went on my "do not by list" years ago
CTD has them for the same price, read reviews there, looks good to me http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/AMM-849?utm_source=gun.deals&utm_medium=organic...
On 2 cases CTD was well over $100 more than AIM.
I wouldn't buy from CTD for any reason anymore.
Low recoil? Grow a pair.
