The FN SLP (Self Loading Police Shotgun) is a series of gas-operated semi-auto shotguns in a 12GA caliber. It includes a few variants, FN SLP, FN SLP Tactical, FN SLP MK1, and FN SLP Competition. It is chambered for a 3-inch cartridge, except for the Competition model, which is chambered for a 2 ¾ or 3-inch Magnum cartridge. It has an extended ammo capacity, which varies from 6 to 8 shells depending on the model. It's a flexible shotgun that offers high or low-profile adjustable sights. In addition, some variants feature a top rail, either a MIL-STD-1913 or Cantilever Weaver-pattern accessory rail, for mounting additional sights.
