Free shipping from SMGA and a $50 rebate from Stoeger was too good to let go by. I already took advantage of the deal on a STR9c and found it was basically a G19 with a good trigger and I expect the same out of this G26 clone, and I'll be into both (170net and 220 net) for less than a used G19 police trade in and already have better triggers. Stoeger is making good guns and offering them at really inexpensive prices. Spare Mags can be tricky to find but I've had good luck with Joe Bobs Outfitters.

I'm not a Radical shill but that could be caused by any number of things unrelated to the rifle's quality...dirt, ammo and magazine are the most common issues on a factory built gun that the average shooter can check. Radical also has a fair warranty if you don't have access to a smith or feel comfortable dismantling the bcg or testing other components. Should be able to get it runnin'......hang in there.

I own a Radical Firearms SOCOM 5.56mm rifle. I recently took it to the shooting range and SURPRISE SURPRISE.... it failed to fire. I thought it might be the ammo but noticed there were VERY light pin strikes. It appears the BCG is faulty or the firing pin was too short. I replaced the firing pin but have yet to go back to the range to test fire it. Frankly, I'm VERY disappointed in Radical Firearms obviously crappy QUALITY CONTROL. I WILL NOT be purchasing another Radical product.

Consider a moment that the Rival is $500. This adds a threaded barrel. Canik barrels are cheap. Fluting adds nothing.
Then a comp is put on it. Those after market Canik comps aren't that much.
The Rival already has a flat face trigger at $500. What exactly is "diamond cut" in terms of any other gun for a trigger? none. No spring changes on trigger.
The texture is different, but the Walther PDP is more aggressive...but both can sport grip tapes.

So...exactly what do you get? A barrel and a comp over the $500 rival.
