those who say they are "waiting" for prices to be under $200 for this pistol will be pushing up daisy's before that happens. These are very good .22 pistols and are true striker fired not blowback designs making them much more reliable and a pleasure to shoot.
Theres no chance these will go down to $175 as some have commented. True they are a bit on the high side due to being fairly new to the market, the current political situation and the stupid ass people "panic buying" guns and ammo, but will probably level out around $275ish. Still worth the money. I do wish they made or make an optics ready model. We will see. Also I can personally attest that Taurus has EXCELLENT lifetime warranty and service. Id almost say the best in the business. This is from my own personal experience.

I ordered my TLR-7A from dvor for a few dollars less but paid for shipping. I do like the light. It is very bright and comes with 2 rear switch options. High and low.
Not a fan of the O-Light mentioned in previous comments. They seem cheap and they have to be plugged in like a cell phone to charge. When the light is dying you can't simply "replace" the battery. Horrible design IMO. I mounting platform is a joke too.

And why do you say this? please tell us your experience? I know personally I have probably made 50 purchases thru them and never once has a problem. I have bought 4 guns also. I love their "4 pay plan". You can buy a gun and only have to pay 25% upfront to recieve it and then 3 monthly payments there after. With zero interest or crazy fees. So much better than typical layaway where you dont get the item until paid off. Who else is gonna do this? especially on firearms!
So yeah I like this company and have always had good service. I am curious as to why you say their trash? With all due respect of course.

How do you like the 10mm round? Im a die hard 9mm loyalist.. lol but have been thinking about getting a 10mm for my duty use. I want something with a wee bit more stopping power but do not want a round with too much over penetration and risk to the public.
I am also curious what sort of power the 10mm has against regular body armor? I own a protective services and security company. We watch over and secure large amounts of cash as well as high value individuals, politicians, musicians, actors, Valuable items, and high security industry. You never know if someone shows up to do harm or to steal via a gun fight and they are prepared and wearing body armor. With my Law enforcement background and a total of 27 years in L.E. and security services Ive seen and heard alot. Many situations and stories involving a a laundry list of weapons and gear.... Criminals are much more brazen and bold especially in high value crimes. They rarely follow the "stick up" type thefts anymore. Now its planned, usually involving more than one suspect and they are heavily armed and outfitted. so yes I am looking to upgrade my 9mm side arm. I do carry 870 12 gauge and my 7.62x39 AR Rifle in my cruiser in my electronic lock and cage mount. The same as any police crown vic would have as thats exactly what it is. Its a 2010 retired, fully outfitted P71 crown vic. I do love my cruiser.

I just cannot get used to that grip safety. It seems like it would be difficult in any other stance, grip, or off hand shooting if for some reason you were unable to fire from your strong hand and in a standard grip and stance. Say your good hand is injured....or your site picture is skewed and your shooting off hand from cover, or under a car, etc. I could be wrong as Ive never handled one of these but in theory, I am concerned. I guess it depends alot on how much grip force it requires to operate the safety? I only have the old "lemon squeezers" as reference...lol. Anyone else have an respectful opinion or thoughts?
