I have a Zpapm70 it is one nice AK. inflation is a bitch. you are never going to see the old days (of last year) again. its a little high but if they ban imports you will kick yourself. i would pay this high price if I didnt have mine.
A more traditional Zastava AK with maple stock is cheaper at K-var for pre-order at $1050 currently

Looks to me that this is one of the most well-built AK/Yugo platform rifles available today.

I bought this same version a couple months ago from Atlantic for 150.00 less. Still way to high, I’d rather bought the all wood furniture version, but considered myself fortunate to grab this one. AK pattern gun prices just keep going up, been that way for some time.
As far as the quality goes, it is really top notch. As nice as any of my Bulgarians or Russians. The stupid “read owners manual” engraving bothers me though. WTF!
Normal fixed stocks both are about $1000 and I say this. This one will be a little heavier but probably better fit and finish
Can confirm. I’ve owned both. Sold the WASR and kept the ZPAP. Fit and finish is WAY better, and the front sight isn’t canted on my Zastava.
Ah yes the triangle stock that doesn’t fold. So you can have the less comfortable stock without the advantage of folding!
