What are the options to attach a red dot to this ?

Midwest Industries is about the only rail I could find. I think Ultimak has an option, but it's just as expensive as the full rail from Midwest.

Midwest has Mlock, Keymod, and traditional quad rails. They even have top rails that give you a co-witness with aimpoint/micro dots.

I got the quadrail before I knew they had mlok and keymod versions that are much lighter.

Good info, thanks!

With irons im about 75% on 8 inch steel with irons. If I use a primary arms advanced micro dot I can hit that steep over and over.

Nice! I gotta get a good red dot soon. But yes this little fire breather is a lot of fun and a literal blast to shoot.

A little trick I learned with the red dot to shoot accurate was to use the top tip of the red dot just like an iron sight. Zero your rifle to impact the top tip of the red dot.

It's too hard to be accurate covering the target with a dot. But using the top tip is pretty freaking amazing accuracy-wise. Play around with it when you have a chance. This little 10 inch barrel is very accurate even with Tulammo.

I own one to and it's a beast and fun as hell but I only run irons. I cant say I can make it out as far as 300 but can hit pretty good groups with irons 150 yards in. Are you using a red dot or scope?

I own one of these. I'm able to ring 10 inch plates at 300 yards over and over with it. Love it.

I have been debating the same thing for the last year.I have gone back & forth due to the mixed opinions all over the place on which to go with.It is a subject that has been discussed for years on the web.My conclusion is the newer reviews seem to favor the M92. I have decided to go with the m92 over the Draco but either is a win in my opinion.
They both have their pros & cons but either one may end up w/ canted sites which are also different. The Draco has a chrome lined barrel & many after market accessories but there are plenty for the m92. I have decided to buy both or only the m92.
I have held & shot both but I feel like the m92 is built a bit better.I really like the bolt hold open option the the safety lever & I like the hinged dust cover.Good luck but you can't lose with either IMO

The bolt hold open is a huge plus when clearing jams or at ranges that require the bolt open when the range is "cold" but I personally did not liked the hinged dust cover; I felt it got in the way when cleaning. Just annoyed me slightly but did not create a functional issue. Like two other people stated the safety was EXTREMELY tight on the M92 but a couple of hours in front of the TV breaking it in (basically making a slight grove in the receiver due to wear) did the trick. Typical AK stuff.

M92 or Draco? I had an M92 a few years ago and liked it however sold it for lack of use being the range I would go to (only outdoor range near me) stopped allowing 'stockless rifles' due to fear people would shoot over the berm. The neighborhood 1 mile behind them had their rifle range shutdown a year or so later being people claimed their houses were being hit with bullets. I now live on 10 acres and can do what I please and plan to pick up a new AK pistol….is the M92 better or worse than a Draco? Tradeoffs between the two?

I was considering purchasing one of these for a long time. But M92's is not compatible with standard AK furnitures and muzzle devices.

This is still a decent deal for M92 if you want one.

I am holding out for a C39v2 pistol due to come out in spring.

lol they already came and sold out at http://www.centerfireguns.com/century-arms-c39v2-pistol-762x39-30rd-hg3788n.html... last year they had them as a promotion!

Also forgot to mention the safety is very tight.. actually too tight.. and can be hard to manipulate for some people until its broken in. Another thing is some people get bad triggers on these. One that I bought had a gritty trigger that would stick so bad it wouldnt fire the next round. Overall the gun is built well for what it is tho so if you're luck enough to get a good one keep it.

I've had this problem with tight safeties on Yugo things before, had to do a little tinkering to loosen it up, but, if don't like doing things like that or aren't very mechanically inclined or however you like to say, it could be an issue.

Sweet deal if you're in the market for an AK pistol. I own a m92 and it is a beast and has straight sights and capable of hitting 6inch targets out to 50 Yards consistently to even 100 yards with irons which is more than optimal for the shorter barrel.
I did however purchase two other m92s after the first one in the past and ended up selling both because of canted sight issues. It wasn't a big deal and lots of AKs have it slighlty but just bothered me so traded em in. Just be aware these are tough guns and not exactly built with attention to detail. They just work.

Those super short stocks for ARs that Troy and others are selling, almost buy the whole pistol here. Same for an AR upper in non-223 (upper, bcg, barrel). These are as short as it gets for rifle caliber pistols.

I don't know which one to pick. I like less kick for sure. But then don't know if I want to get away from the 7.62x39

Not an expert, but 7.62 x 39 performs better out of a short barrel and ammo is cheaper. But if you own a AR and don't own an AK, probably better to go 556/223 for commonality of ammo.

In cases like this, I always say: When in doubt, get them both! At this price, you can't afford not to!

I have the 7.62x39 already and at this price, I'm adding the .223. Already ordered it.

My sks is leaning against the wall in the corner. Once ammo runs out flip up the bayonet and go for plan B

If a 12 gauge pistol grip shotgun won't fit on your nightstand this is the next best thing. Don't worry, your wife won't think your crazy just well prepared.

If you could only have one which would you pick the 7,62 or the 223 version

I HAD the 7.62 but it had a little too big of a kick (to maintain aim) and was SUPER loud to be very useful (in my mind). The 223 version might be more controllable but you will loose a LOT of velocity due to the short barrel. The 7.62 one was super fun for spraying lead though but I bought an underfolder to replace it.

I bought an underfolder, too, but not to replace my M92, but to complement it! Now I'm getting the M85 in .223 as well. Just ordered one. Same deal from Centerfire Systems as the M92. That makes four AK's, but it's not enough. :)

Center fire systems also has a m85. Which is this same thing in just 223/556 for the same price. Which one would you pick?

How do you know it's free shipping? The product page doesn't say that.

On the checkout page it says "SHIPPING CHARGE WILL BE ADDED WHEN ORDER IS PROCESSED THROUGH CENTERFIRE. View our shipping chart."

Then you click on the shipping chart & it's $15.

It's free shipping, just ordered one. I did get a $5 added on for something, but that could be because I ordered other stuff than the gun. Still a good deal.

Well I also could get a 7.62x39 upper For my ar15. What would you guys pick. Also if I would get the upper I would buy one of those sliding stocks just for shits and giggles.

Because I want a new car gun and this thing may be a bit much.

For the price I think I may just risk it. Not like this thing is super expensive. So no big loss if it ain't what I want. But a few people below day the shot one and like it. Well then for 400 bucks seems like a good and loud bang for your buck. I'm in.

And I have ordered from center fire before, multiple times. Very good service.

I have one of these in 7.62x39. You won't be disappointed. I'm considering also getting the M85 today in .223. It's a well-made AK.

i just placed my order via phone, talked with Ed. These guys seem legit , It came out to 414 .00 after the 3% card fee. I get free FFL transfers so Ill see how my first order with centerfiresystems turns out.

How is this thing actually. I have 3 full size ak47s and 1 ak74. Never shot this before. But don't have anything like this. I was looking for a new car gun. The last gun show a few weeks back had these for 8to850.

When I take people shooting, they always want to shoot my M92 AK pistol and they always go home with a smile--and sometimes a photo of them wielding it. It's a fun gun.

But prepper store was "giving" these away for only 80 bucks more after shipping last week ....cause they were soon to be no longer available.

This is the lowest I have seen it in years...plus free shipping... Win win for sure.

I've also seen the price creep back up occasionally. This seems like a pretty good deal.

I got one of these from Classic Firearms about a year ago for about this price and I must say this is an excellent firearm. I really love mine--and it's become the favorite of many whom I take shooting.

I think you'll be waiting for a long time if you wait for $399 shipped, though. Maybe. But they seem to sell out at higher prices, so maybe not.

We're almost there $399 shipped. I would like to make an sbr out of this.

Agreed. It is getting very very close. Seems to creep down 10 or so every few weeks.

All the 'these keep dropping in price' posts are PRICEless. They hover from 400 to 450 depending on the time of year. Either you want one this week or not, don't complain about the seasonal 20 dollar fluctuation like you are some pricing rainman.
