Bought one of the AB2's awhile back from a different vendor and was a little disappointed. The dust cover doesnt fit worth a shit and none of the numbers are matching. Feels nice and sturdy but havnt had a chance to shoot it yet so I cant comment on performance yet.

Where can I get one for 350

It doesn't have a hammer forged Yugo barrel or original receiver. What is the big draw of this model when an N-PAP can be had instead?

Agree. This is a chep rifle without 1.6mm receiver and no HCF barrel. It only looks like Yugo M70 but quaility is probably much worse. I am looking for AK47 type and Yugo M70 AB2 is excellent AK from my first hand combact experience. A bit heavy but worth extra weight.

Consider the VZ2008 (VZ58), many reviewers consider it superior to an AK. The rifle & the magazines are lighter. Uses the 7.62 x 39 round.

Frog- Not to be rude, but you don't know the difference between the M70AB2 and the M70AB2-T (the one on Classic for $529). The M70AB2 has the thicker receiver (1.6mm) as opposed to the M70AB2-T that has the standard 1.0mm receiver. This is a pretty good price. Not amazing, but the best around right now.

HOW IS THIS A DEAL?

Classic firearms has it for $529 and that is already too expensive for this.

I bought one for $500 shipped before they raised the price and i got rid of it because it just isn't worth that.

Non-Matching numbers!!!

You gotta love the description though. "Yugoslavia makes one of the highest quality AK-47s in the world" Too bad the best parts were left in Yugoslavia.

I'd like to think we could make a better AK than anybody else out there... or at least recruit those folks to make 'em over here.

Here is one for you, not bad, not expensive, but certainly not the best AK out there - http://gun.deals/product/io-inc-sporter-762x39-rifle-1625-barrel-30rd-black-sport005-59999-free-shipping...

Yeah, I saw that one earlier. I'd really like an AK for my collection but other toys have priority at the moment.

As for my earlier comment, I'd bet we can make the best AK in the world... it'd probably cost two or three times the price of your average AK, though. =(

How do you know that they have 50 in stock? Are they importing these again or this is what's left from last batch? I have not seen the yugo's in stock for a long time?!

Type "9999" in the quantity box, click add to cart, and it will tell give you a "we're sorry, only (insert number) of item in stock". It's a great trick that works wonderfully on Aim-Surplus.
