I had a $20 gift card about to expire, so why not? $15.10 per box of 50 shipped to my door...yes please!
Current deal requires membership, which adds another 24.95 to the cost.
Over 40 cents per round after shipping. There many other vendors offering this or like product for around 35 cents per round after shipping (.36 shipped to me). Even LAX Ammo (plated reloads) offers 45 ACP at .35 per round shipped WITH a plastic ammo can.
Regards
I use this ammo in my Thompson smg. Recently fired 300 rounds without a single FTF or FTE. (With a bullet hose like a Tommy, I'm not overly concerned with MOA accuracy.)
As for backorders, I just ordered 1000 rounds of the Wolf from Sportsmans Guide on Thursday, and it was shipped on Friday.
Wow! Maybe I should call them. My 500 rounds of wolf that I ordered a month ago still show back order.
Have used Wolf ammo in the past. Works just fine in my XD. Still waiting on this deal from a month ago, still on backorder.
No offense, but I wouldn't use Wolf ammo if it was free.
Care to give a reason besides the fact that you're an elitist that enjoys throwing money away and takes what he hears at the range as facts rather than looking at actual factual data to support the argument against ignorance?
When items are in stock they're a great company, but they're also a good hedge against rising prices. By placing orders nor you lock in ammo at a set price knowing you'll get it down the road. Not a bad deal if you have ammo to shoot in the interim.
29.99 Membership + Shipping on top of the price.
It's not a bad deal especially if you're already a member, but backorder status should have it's own tab or section.
Why do people keep posting backordered stuff from Sportsman's Guide? Everyone knows their backorder dates are a joke. If you order this, you can expect to wait 6 months.
Mine arrived today. I'll give it a try.
