The WMD NiB-X finished 5.56NATO barrel assembly is a match-quality barrel treated inside and out with Nitromet nitrocarburization for an enhanced bore life up to 50% greater than traditional chrome lining. Manufactured from 4150 steel, chambered for 5.56 NATO and button-rifled with 1:7 twist rate to stabilize the heavier military cartridges. The barrel extension has also been treated with NiB-X to help the bolt unlock exceptionally smoothly, especially when used in conjunction with a NiB-X coated Bolt Carrier group.
NIBXGB - WMD NiB-X Low Profile Gas Block - .750"
The WMD NiB-X Low Profile gas block for AR-15 pattern rifles is precision machined from 4340 steel and treated with WMD's proprietary NiB-X Nickel Boron coating. This treatment provides a harder-than-chrome surface with excellent lubricity and extreme corrosion resistance. Matched with a slim, sculpted design, this gas block is perfect for mounting beneath a free-float rail system. Mounting hardware included. Set screw design for .750" barrels.
NMGTC - WMD Nitromet Carbine Gas Tube - AR-15
The WMD Nitromet Carbine Gas Tube is a standard Mil-Spec gas tube manufactured from stainless steel that has been salt bath nitrocarburized for extra resistance to heat and corrosion. The Nitromet finish gives added durability and surface hardness for improved corrosion resistance and a longer service life. Comes with gas tube roll pin.
