You're assuming Walmart is open, has power, is gettting trucks, and in a real disaster not a looter's battleground.
You'd also probably be surprised how many people don't keep food at home and get stuff day to day or eat out,
Just this past week sections of Minneapolis lost power and stores weren't stocked and hotels were full up.
Well, some people do rely on the Government to ""take care"" of them and everybody knows how well that works out, just ask any Indian....
Yeah I'm looking forward to some FEMA blankets to keep me warm.
Good thing about those blankets, they double as coffins and holds 10 people in them.
Who in their right mind cannot go to walmart....or hell, their pantry.....and find 3 days worth of food??!?!
What a scam!
Considering EVERYBODY would go to a walmart to get items, the shelves would be cleaned out within the hour, just like what happened during Katrina in New Orleans. If you've NEVER been in a crisis situation, which I can tell you haven't, then you would know the value of being prepared with even just the essentials.
Does the food in your pantry have a 25 year shelf life? If you had to bug out, how much would 3 days of canned food weigh?
