If you're selling a rifle specifically advertised as "light-weight", wouldn't you want to mention exactly how much it weighs? Just a thought.

I was thinking the same thing. Manufacture's website says 5.85 lbs without a mag.

Just about every AR rifle sportsmans has right now is on sale. I looked at all the pages yesterday.

They also had the Bushmaster C15 w/ red dot scope for 599.00

Take a look at the site you'll find some great rifles for really decent prices.

This has to be similar to the Bushmaster Carbon 15. While, I do think WW probably makes a better, I bought the Carbon a few mos ago, and sold it to a friend a few days later. Didn't like the feel of the carbon. He likes it though.

I have been very curious about this gun. This price is as cheap as it gets. Anyone here with any experience with this gun. Windham has a good name in the AR business and I have owned a alloy version and was very pleased with its performance, fit, and finish. Would love to hear from someone who has one of these because I am very close to pulling the trigger and buying this gun just to check it out.

Not as cheap as it gets, I recently bought a dpms panther oracle because of all the great reviews i found online. Boy am i glad i did, im super impressed with the gun ,500 rds of cheap steel ammo later without cleaning or oiling it once and not a single failure to fire or extract, its functioned flawlessly .Also It has a great feel to it(doesn't feel cheap) the fit and finish are great as well. Its an excellent gun and I would recommend it to anyone. $639 free shipping here https://gun.deals/product/15-panther-oracle-223556-flat-top-69999-shipped...

He's probably refering to the polymer models out there in regard to being as cheap as it gets.

PS, Just about any brand new inexpensive AR can shoot dirty cheap ammo problem free, the problems usually surface down the road. If you want the AR to keep performing trouble free, you should consider using cleaner ammo if you want it to last, especially if your running it dry. (unless of course your running a Failzero BCG or similiar, but for the most part, most people with inexpensive plinker AR's don't plop down a few hundred dollars for a better than average low maintenence BCG)

An AK you can feed it anything, dirty ammo, clean ammo makes no difference. An AR is not the same breed my friend. Just my opinion, it's your rifle, you can be nice to it or not. It's all good ;)

Yes, that's what I meant...this is as cheap as I have seen one of the new carbon AR's....

That's why piston systems are so ingenious.....so much cleaner and easy to take care of.

Has anyone seen this lower available stripped? Just curious. I wonder if this one looks more like the ATI or the NF polymer....

Just curious if these carbon fiber lowers are really much stronger and better than a plain polymer lower. Has anyone heard of this Windham carbon lower cracking or coming apart like the ATI is widely reported to.

I know there are many out there who really dislike these polymer lowers, and some for good reason considering ATI's track record. I have had one ATI break already myself. My NF polymer seems to be much stronger than the ATI but it looks really cheap. I like the idea of polymer lowers and am waiting for the day when they are perfected and considered "as good as" an alloy...if that day ever arrives. I remember when the "plastic" pistols hit the market years ago. Many scoffed at Glock and the likes. Now they are virtually the standard by which others are measured. Wonder if we will ever look back on these the same way...
