I can't believe some people are complaining about this ammo. The Ammo can on the low end is a $10 value so your getting the ammo for .17 cents a round. How is this not a good deal for 124gr Nato Ammo!
Your absolutely right. This is a screaming deal not to mention in comes in sealed can. If I could afford it, i would buy 100 cans LOL
Shot a box today along with America. Eagle and Remington. Had one failure to fire. At this price in 2018, I wouldn’t buy again.
It shoulds decent as recoil and decent accuracy as well. I am not a best shot, but at 5 yards, I got about 2” group.
Well Crap, I bought it again last night and it was $180, Brownells just updated the order and it's $200, and shipped. I wonder how CS is with these guys.
$180.98 with the filler item. Works for me
Saw today that Walmart has this same ammo for 18 cents a round in boxes of 150.
Yes, but as long as you don't live in Iowa this doesn't include tax. So the price would be a legit 180 rather than like 190-195. As long as you don't mind waiting for a 1-1.5 weeks this is an excellent deal.
Still works fine - added a dust cover pin for a buck, and got 1K rounds plus the pin for $180.99 shipped.
Need to remove this.... out of stock & Brownell's told me they have no affiliation with gun.deals for this price.
1) Gun.deals is a site people post (hopefully) gun related deals. The posters generally have nothing to do with the stores they link to.
2) It is in stock as of 9/1/2018
3) Read the deal and follow the directions.
Took 5 days to artive, free shipping for that order & money off. Bought two more boxes of 40’s. When it works for me it’s iron-clad. My deal-karma is usually broken.
YES IT DOES if you read the deal and follow the directions.
Step 1, add item to cart. ******Step 2, add cheap filler item to cart (I picked a $1.99 firing pin)**** Step 3, use coupon code to remove S/H and also discount $20.
Comes out pretty cheap, esp. if you get another 7% back with Active junky, that's $8.13 a box shipped with a "free" ammo can.
The Nato stuff is hotter, basically somewhere between the cheap stuff and +p ammo, but at this price, I actually prefer it to cheap range 9mm from win/fed/rem. The reason is twofold.
1) that cheap range ammo from win/fed/rem is very weakly charged, a lot of guns especially new or those designed to run unsuppressed/suppressed can struggle to run well on that super weak 115gr stuff. I've had several buddies buy new guns and have problems with the cheap weak stuff, give them a couple boxes of Nato and it runs fine in them. The cheap stuff is getting so weak to save ammo companies money that unless gun companies start providing a weaker/strong recoil spring combo with guns, they either have problems running weak 9mm, or they beat the heck out of the internals when someone runs the hotter stuff. Plenty of companies now the first thing they'll ask when you have problems with a 9mm running is if you are shooting the cheap/weak stuff, and their first suggestion will be go get a little more powerful 9mm load.
2) It's a closer simulation in recoil etc. to carry ammo, which means that cycles the gun at a speed closer to carry ammo, so it's better feedback on how well your gun will run with carry ammo, granted it's important to still put a lot of actual carry ammo through any gun you intend to carry but running an FMJ load close to your carry ammo gives better info.
It's Nato 124grain so it's basically +p load. It's not the same as the normal whitebox shit. It's going to cost an extra penny or two per round. If your a cheap a$$ than go to Walmart and buy the 115grain regular stuff for less money.
Comes to $199.99 with code NCS. What am I missing?
Is this stuff accurate for steel matches?
You can get new, quality brass ammo for $170 shipped and buy a new, clean ammo can at Walmart for $9.
Heck, you can get quality aluminum-cased ammo, which many guns shoot just fine, for $160 shipped. There is no reason to pay .21/round for range ammo.
Could you provide the name of the ammo at Walmart, I visit Walmart very often and I have never seeing brass ammo 1,000 rounds per less than 200 plus tax. Thanks in advance.
This is one of them - #554389933 (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Winchester-9mm-Luger-115-Grain-USA/50345993...). It's going for about $36/200 in my area. They've also had 100 round boxes for about $18 or so.
Not the cheapest 9mm but hot 124gr w/ 50 cal can. I'm in for one.
I have 100's of ammo cans.Would rather get a better price.
Yes, red sealed primer and wire military seal on 50 cal can.
Yeah it is 124 gr if that is really that important. Much cheaper options out there for range plinking.
Cost a little extra, but 124g @ 1200 fps in a new ammo can ain't bad. Makes a nice round for 5" 9mm 1911's.
Down $15 from my original comment. I'm in at $180 shipped 9/8/18.
(Got $9.05 back from BeFrugal too!)
“Up to 40% back” “shop through befrugal”
Not sure what they’re trading to buy your privacy,
but nearly everything I saw them offer was 2.25%
off, or returned, or whatever.
@lovescotland. I hope you were talking at lease toward to my comments. I am just sharing the experience of what I had. One round out of 50 did not go bang which to me is bad. I have shot the rests yet. Yes the price is ok.
