So if I look at the Walmart app on my phone for this ammo it shows the many Walmart stores in my area as "none available". Wow, there is one that shows as unsure of availability. I can ride 3 miles this way, 6 miles that way, 9 miles that way and on and on. And still not have any ammo. And try to call to find out if they have it. Not! And you are lucky to find someone working the area if you did find a box. Looks like the normal Walmart price is the $26 something. I'll have my Cabela's order done in less than 5 minures and be back to looking after the madam. Plus not getting in a fight with others in the line.

Bough it 3 days ago in local Walmart for $26.67. They have 30+ boxes. Walmart 13 miles from my local one same story. Plenty of 9mm in pack of 100 rounds per box.

Got this at walmart for 22.97 and federal 100pk for 23.97 stop gouging everyone for christ sake. If everyone stops buying 9mm it will go back to $205 shipped for a 1000rds again.

My walmart had a dozen boxes of Federal 9mm FMJ for 13.95 a box. Most of it sat for a few days until somebody came on Wed and cleaned it out, along with the rest od the ,45acp. I really think there are people going around buying this ammo up then re-selling it online to people in other areas. I have gun components on armslist and its so irritating when some jagoff asks me if i'll trade it for .22lr or 9mm. Whatever, that's my .02 rant for the day.

Picked up this same box at wally world yesterday for 26$ That moment everyone was waiting for when gun/ammo prices to come down is finally starting to show some light... Don't pay stupid prices and places will adjust accordingly.

Guess this isn't to bad for online, I snagged some 100rd boxes of Federal brass 9mm a couple of months ago for $20 each though at Wally World. Think I will wait for those again.

I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing the people who upped this post fall into one or all of the following categories:

1) Don't recall what the price/rd was prior to December 2012.

b) Think it's impossible for vendors to return to pre-panic prices (REF: Magpul 30rd PMAG).

iii) See a 100ct box and immediately assume "rare" or "deal", not market stability or production output delay.

IV) Are comforted by the friendly, familar white box with "Winchester" proudly stamped on the side in bright red.

F) Are Cabelas fanboys.

Its like the price of gas it goes up but only comes down a fraction of what it went up. 26-32 is the new normal for 9mm.

I'm funny. I don't care what people buy with their money.

I have not seen a Winchester bulk pack of 9mm at any of my local Wally Worlds in 10 months. Closest I got was some Remington bulk about 9 months ago. Which I did buy at about this price point and I gladly snagged both of the 250 round packs they got that day. When I have seen some Winchester bulk packs a my LGSs they have been $35-$40 a box. So even though they are hitting me for 5 bucks more than Wally World would IF they had any or gave any indication they will get some in during the next few months I would pass. As it is I ponied up for 9 boxes to hold me over. This time last year I had about 4K rounds of 9mm in my stash and I am now down to around 1K. With in store pickup I think it's an ok deal in the current marketplace.

I work third shift at a Walmart. Ammo is coming in pretty often. Always have 40 and 45 now. No question whatsoever. Have more then that will fit on the shelf. Getting cases of 5.56 federal every once in a blue moon. Getting 9mm almost at least once every two weeks. Usually the 50 round packs but occasionally the 100 rounders. Ammo IS coming back in stock. Just still being bought up quick.

I just bought this box at WallyWorld for 24.95. Actually, I bought 3 of them, paid no shipping and only 4.50 in sales tax. This is not a good deal.

it's a great deal if you local wamart by you doesnot even sell ammo..that's their loss because i will not go there for anything .

My WalMart's only allow one box per caliber. These are $27.99 plus tax when in stock, and that is once every two weeks at best.
For $2 more per hundred, in stock, no limit, and Free Shipping to store, this deal is just fine.

mine still only lets you get one but they are 22.99 and about the same frequency sometimes more often.

ordered 2000 rds with an in store pickup and used $47.00 in Cabela's credit points for $609.00. Works for me. Damn taxes though.

It's a good deal for me, my ranch is 10 min from Cabela's store. Free ship to store pick-up and $2.47 tax. I've purchased a reasonable amout of 9mm today. Sit and waiting for deals on .45 ACP.

Curious how there are currently 12 upvotes for this "deal" that are all anonymous... $.30 a round for FMJ 115gr 9mm is not that exciting. I would propose that voting should be restricted to registered members to make it more difficult to game the system.

Seems decent enough to me, its cheaper than Academy, same as my Wal-Mart and a hell of alot cheaper than my other LGS. But I don't pay shipping as I live near Cabelas.

Me too. WTF right? Seems these guys are thumbing up in stock again.

If you aren't picking it up its about .35cpr shipped and that's ridiculous for wwb.

This is normally a $24 box of ammo when the mentally handicapped leave their wallets in their pockets.

Its not exciting but its a fair enough deal. I would order it if Cabelas allowed IL residents to order ammunition on the website.

Yeah, it's fair, but it's not like "BANANAS A++++!". At the time I posted the comment there were 13 votes, 12 of which were thumbs up. Just seems suspicious for it to be a 4.5* deal at 30 CPR +S&H.

It's leveled off to the 2.5* deal that it is now (and it's only worth that because we're still tapering off the panic)

Dang you are right. Sorry. I used the clubfive discount and just saw the other. Missed the excludes ammo part. That is annoying.
