HOLYWALLOFALLCAPS BATMAN! Seriously, these are great little CCW guns and this is a decent price. But be aware: there's a safety recall on this model affecting some serial numbers, so you may end up having to send it back to Walther (at their expense) if yours falls into the serial range. Mine did, got it back in about 10 days, seems to have been a minor precautionary upgrade. I'd buy one again.

None of the pistols that we are selling are impacted by the safety recall. These are all produced after that issue. This was confirmed with our suppier.

It says sa/da, does it have a hammer? I thought it was striker fired?

It is indeed a striker fire.

I bought one last year the LE for $299. These are sweet little pistols.

dont feel bad. you still got a great gun. This happened to me buying the Sig P360. Bought it for 550, 2 weeks later 499!

Just shot this today side by with the G43. Although the G43 was reliable and consistent on accuracey the PPS M2 did indeed "kill it" over the Glock. From the very first shot this thing was like a laser. I heard this was true of the M1, but based on reviews of the M2 I was expecting a less stellar performamce. No ftf/fte. With about 50 rounds through it right out of the box I was unexpectedly impressed.
I shot the non L/E edition. These are just now hitting local stores nationwide. Buy locally for around $399.99 depending on your market/tax. Save the FFL transfers fee.

Well quite a few reviews have been done on this as of now. I even got a chance to hold one at SS. The initial feel was remarkably better than the original. Improvements abound in the trigger, grip and mag release (depending on your preference). Of note, a few shooters have said the original PPS seemed more accurate, however, I feel that is an unfair comparison to a gun that has been out for long while to one only weeks old to the market.

*Update* Confirmed; the trigger take up, break, let off and reset are pretty darn close to those elements in the PPQ trigger. The PPS M2, however, does have a slightly heavier feeling trigger than the PPQ, but I did not test this with a pull weight scale. This heavier pull weight is to be expected on a gun intended for CC.

At least it doesnt look like the "lego" original PPS.

I am curious whether it's a better shooter than my current ccp.

Initial reports look promising for this. It certainly can't do worse than the CCP. Trigger is said to be close to or on par with the PPQ. Time will tell there, since I've tried a PPQ, P99, PPX, and PPQ22. 3 of the 4 were good to great, but the P99 (QA) left something to be desired.
