Description

The PPQ M2 is a true breakthrough in ergonomics for self-defense handguns. The sculpted grip meshes smoothly into the hand. The trigger is the finest ever on a polymer, striker-fired handgun. The styling is elegant and trim. What’s more, PPQ M2 has been updated for 2013 with a new traditional reversible mag release button. The leading edge just took another step forward.

Hahaha reading the old comments about how good a deal this was at just over $400.... if thats the deal, this price sucks!

Well it was definitely worth the 650 I paid for it when it was new to the market and that's the lowest you could find it for in the first year ( then again I got the SD Navy model with a threaded barrel) ... still a great gun but you can probably go get it cheaper the elsewhere

Taking a plunge here for this Walther. This is will be my second striker fired pistol after my Taurus OSS. Kudos to Kyle's GunShop for such an amazing deal and fast shipping. Very please with my new Walther PPQ. Thank you Kyle!

Best striker fired gun I own. And paid $650 during the hype last year. You CANNOT go wrong with this gun.

Is the frame strong enough for the 40? I notice the 22 caliber is exactly the same gun. Wondering if this will ever be made in 45? I plan on picking up a 9, but have seen so many guns come and go in 45 years of carrying, I decided to wait for a possible recall, it seems like there is one every day lately. Still haven't got my XDS back

Too much to like about this gun. Best striker-fired trigger in the industry. The price makes this a SUPER DEAL!

Gawd I love this damn gun. And would pay $600 for it again all day long. At this price, sell your Glock 19 and let me welcome you to the club.

Price went from $514 to $539, but still an excellent price shipped compared to others.

Sweet pitsol. I just wish they'd bring back version 1. It had the paddle mag release and the mags fit your p-99. These don't. I still may get one, though...

I posted this, as it is, and probably will be the lowest price available on what I consider, one of the best polymer pistols released in the last 20 years.

Even though this is marketed as a DA handgun, it really is a SA. With around 4.5 to 5lbs trigger pull, short reset, it let's the shooter gain more accuracy with the help of an excellent trigger. It costs hundreds of $$ to install aftermarket trigger on a polymer pistol these days. M&P, Glock, Roger all benefit from it, and become better shooters. This pistol is ready for competition out of the box.

I own the M1 model with the H&K style lever mag release, and be noted the mags do not fit from M1 to M2 PPQ, so finding mags will be challenging until more is supplied to distributors.

It will handle +p loads, but avoid +p+.

I own Glock, S&W, Taurus and CZ pistols, and I cannot recommend this PPQ enough. Walter makes highly reliable pistols, and they could easily market this as a $700 pistol up there with H&K, and I would still buy it.

I will judge all new polymer pistols by PPQ standards from now on, just like Glock did for many years.

God bless America

Damir, thanks, good deal indeed. I have a question for you: how would you suggest a PPQ M2 9mm with a 5" barrel for competition shooting?

Absolutely. Problem is they're extremely hard to find. Partially because Walther just split from Smith and Wesson recently and it's been affecting imports. There are a few members on WaltherForums who did in fact receive it. Best thing to do is pre-order it where available. That is my next purchase.

On the 5" version, keep in mind there will not be an M1, only an M2 version with traditional side mag release button which I am sure will be great for those who want to enter into matches.

Also the 5" PPQ M2 has a ported slide with a ported barell.

Thanks for the reply Damir, even if I never compete with it, the 5" looks very slick. I have a few things on sale - I may pull the proverbial trigger on the 5" as soon as they come through. Thanks again & cheers :)

Damir - where did you get the info that the 5-inch barrel was ported? Did someone on the Walther forum mention this? Having a ported barrel will disqualify it from IDPA competition.

I apologize. The slide is ported but apparently not for the barrel, but for weight reduction. It does come with corresponding spring and rod. So, I apologize for the above misinformation. I misread that. There is not much info on them. Hyatt gun store is taking pre-orders at $699 with a 4-6 month backorder.

I have the first gen of these with the lever. I'd love the regular button mag release. But these guns are incredible. Watch Nut'nfancy's review on it titled "sniper's pistol." The best stock trigger on any handgun I've ever shot. I can empty a 15rd mag in 3-4 seconds
