Thanks. This news pushed me over the fence. And I already owned a VP9.

The PPQ has been reviewed 'far and wide',, Not much more I can say that hasn't been said before.
Me? First PPQ and First Paddle mag. Chose the M1 over the M2 specifically for the paddle. Just curious, I reckon',,,
Took about 3-4 mags to 'experiment', another 2-3 to 'tune', and the Paddle / RH index finger are working together just fine!
Zero regrets on anything so far, including my transaction with GunBuyer.

I actually prefer the paddle magazine release. However, every other handgun I own has a button magazine release, and I wonder if switching between them may cause confusion if I'm in a high pressure situation; it will probably never happen, but...

I have this model and I love it. The only drawback is the cost and availability of extra magazines. This is the 1st pistol that I've owned with the european style trigger guard safety. It takes a little getting used to but it is pretty intuitive and lends well to ambidextrous shooting.

Awesome gun! Has the best striker fire trigger I've felt. Also ergonomics are perfect for me. When I point shoot its naturally exactly right on target. Great company to order from too.

Screw it, I ordered one. $469 shipped is way too cheap to walk past and ignore. I kicked tired for months and months on this gun and the HK VP9, ended up buying the VP9 because I got a crazy good deal on one, reserved for those guys who "know a guy who knows a guy", and just got really lucky. I just picked up the VP9 last week, haven't even loaded it yet, and now this went on sale for $459+10 a few days ago and I had to scoop one even though now I'm broke!

There are worse problems than having a brand new unfired PPQ M1 and a brand new unfired HK VP9. AND a FDE Sig 2022 with only one mag through it.

I have a lot of shooting to do to find out which ones are staying and which are going. Of course, I'll probably never sell any of them, lol.

I got the M1 for a much better price at $486 a few weeks ago from Grab-A-Gun. The reviews are correct, it has a very good, smooth trigger and is accurate.

Great gun, great price, terrible retailer. Wouldn't accept it for free from CTD. If you don't know what I am talking about, CTD has been the worst of the worst when it comes to price gouging the in the wake of events like Sandy Hook. What did it for me were the daily fear mongering e-mails I received from them trying to convince me to buy one of their grossly overpriced (~$2000) low-end AR's "before Congress bans them!"

I actually respect them more for that. They're feeding their business by preying on the stupid and under-prepared. A business's job is to profit, and when they do that, it's only the stupid and under-prepare who are willing to pay the price.

The only way they pissed me off was cowing to the anti-gun lobby by yanking Pmags off their shelves in the wake of Sandy Hook. Never pander to those fucks; they're not spending a dime at CTD anyway.

I've held off for quite a long time to buy one, I'm glad I did. I doubt the price will go much lower on a brand new one.

This is a super good deal on an awesome pistol. IMO, the grip is great, trigger pull and reset is very nice, very crisp. Very confident inspiring pistol. This M1 version uses the same mags as the P99.

This is a fantastic striker fired pistol. I know it has been said before, but the hype is for real in my opinion.

Good deal. I got one from Bud's last month for a couple dollars cheaper than this after shipping is considered, but an hour or so after I ordered, the price shot up almost $100 and has been there since. I love my PPQ; it instantly became one of my favorite firearms.

This is the M1, with the paddle release. Honestly, I wish this came on more handguns. Especially with the size/implementation that Walther uses; it's MUCH easier to actuate than my H&K's.

"Anyone know what the *LTD means?"

Limited edition (paddle release).
I'm seriously considering buying another at this price.

This might be too good to pass up...

I don't understand the down votes either unless it is just something against Bud's. A deal was posted not long before this from Grabagun for 486 + 6 s/h. I thought THAT was a good price. This one is just too good to pass up in my opinion.

I was about to buy it at $486, then when I saw $460, I bought it. Best deal I've ever seen for a PPQ M1.

What a deal. Sure love mine! To each their own, but the paddle release is perfect for me and is why I chose the M1 over the M2. I don't get the down votes either. This is a steal on this gun.

Great price. I was trying to decide between this and the HK VP9. I couldn't pass this up and ordered one today. Thanks for posting!

I own both...my walther seems to still be the better shooter for me...and for this price...even the grab a gun price, it's a steal!

This is the lowest price I've ever seen for a PPQ M1. Awesome deal. Thanks.

Great gun for $460 + free shipping, don't understand the down vote. I would jump on this if I was looking for one, but already have one and paid $100 more.

I actually don't like how short the trigger reset is. But probably the best striker fired trigger stock and even when compared to modified glock, m&p and xd trigger.

I can't believe someone marked this as a non-deal. I have a PPQ M1 with standard length barrel and it is one sweet shooting handgun. I am guessing that voter has never fired one. This is the cheapest I have ever seen one sell for.

Price is a good deal, but at checkout shipping is $25. Not such a good deal unless you are local.

How can anyone vote this down?

not much difference between this and the H&K p30

I have both M1 and P30. The M1 has the better trigger and is about $300 less expensive. I run M1 in both USPSA and IDPA. The P30 is regulated to being a safe queen. At $501, this is a good deal.

Except for the fact that one is striker fired and one is hammer fired.

How are these pistols so similar then I'm wondering as that is pretty much key difference. Did one company copy the others frame & profile or something? Both companies are German, not sure i that makes them related somehow or not.

The grip and the frame are similar but other wise they are a different design. The frame and profile arguably date back to the Walther P99's. With that said I don't think either is a "copy". They are both great guns, I just happen to prefer the HK grip and trigger systems.

Ok kinda like how multiple companies make the 1911 design I guess.

Love my M1! Got one when they first came out. Big fan of the paddle release, especially being left handed. Its good to see them finally coming back around.

I run the M1 in Production USPSA and IDPA SSP a couple times a month and absolutely love the gun. Sold off my Glocks and just ordered an M2 5". Have over 5,000 rounds w/only 1 FTE, believe it was due to a downloaded round. With the paddle mag release, I do not need to adjust my grip when doing a mag change. And the trigger out of the box is as good as any gunsmith trigger job ($250 -$500) done on anything this side of a 1911. Don't hesitate, pick one of these up and you won't be disappointed.

What Holster do you use? I'm about to enter my first competition and need some ideas! :) Thanks! This is my 4th PPQ and 3rd M1 (sold .40 version that I wished I hadn't).

Get these M1 models while you still can. One of the best polymer pistols ever.

From what I understand, Walther only ships the M2 frame to the US...the rest of the world still gets the paddles.
